It is not. there is black showing in a bunch of spots. Some here, some there. Just a low quality mass produced gun.

It doesn’t have spots missing paint. It is shadowed by design.

Ours sample has actual paint missing. I do Cerakote, this one was poorly done.

poor quality workmanship should never be intentional. I have seen a LOT of caniks where the cerakote just flakes right off from poor quality work. So this is not new. I did just get one in that they did a little better on though and it does NOT have the "shadows". I may make a video to show the details.

I have the same issues with the paint missing and I am seeing it in the same areas as you are. I just shot it for the first time today. It shot well, but I much prefer my Rival sfx S with regard to recoil.

It's not a bad gun. I just feel for the premium price tag, they should pay a little more attention to the details. The Rival is a great piece.

Color was done by design. They stated months ago that it was to give it shadowing in any light. I've 'personally' put over 500 rds down range with mine already and have to say, the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the all black rear sight. It didn't change the feel or function in any way. The TTI Combat made me not appreciate the Elite Combat I own. It reminds me of the Rival only a little lighter yet less recoil.

There is clearly paint missing in areas of the sample we received. It's not an issue of "shadowing in any light" Burnt Bronze in general in a nice color and can have that sort of effect. I am just pointing out that at this price point, the customer deserves a little more attention to detail. I am glad you are enjoying yours though. As long as each end user has a good one and enjoys that is what matters.

I love the way Caniks shoot and their pricing but at Canik's MSRP for the TTI Combat you would think they would take the extra step and make sure it looked as good as it shoots...

Taran & Canik deliberately sprayed it that way to add color contrast to the slide cuts. It was done for a reason. Not poor coating.

Oh cmon this gun is special. The trigger blows away other triggers. It shoots incredible. As far as the threaded barrel, so what it doesn't come with one not all guns do just but one if you truly need a supressor. And the color or how it was sprayed. Make another video with a close up I didn't see anything wrong. I just picked up the Mete Signature SF Apocalypse 9mm Luger 15+1 4.19" Another great gun

It's a walther clone, buddy. Not a glock a "ggLOck CloNE" 😂 you need more research bruh. The shadows ARE INTENTIONAL. If you went to the shot show, you would know this.

If they made it broken you fan boys would say that was intentional as well. Any polymer striker fired gun is a glock clone...even a walther ;)

they stated they painted it that way on purpose for a shadow effect. plus its a copy of a walther . Just bring yours back. you hate it

I sold it right away and just got another one to sell. The fan boys will buy them up. It's really funny all the people claiming that canik painted them poorly on purpose....the one I just got in yesterday .....spoiler alert....they didn't miss spots. I will take some pictures and post it up so people can decide which one is the poor quality LOL.
