"Where did you go?" are words you generally don't want to hear working with tarantulas/spiders 😂 Just last night after rearranging some enclosures as I was about to go to bed I heard rustling/creaking noises from our critter room. I opened the door and switched on the light, no signs of any escapees, but I knew the crickets couldn't be making that much noise. Then I realized what it was, The Ceiling Lizards. We live in a rural/desert area and frequently get decently sized lizards (and possibly birds) sneaking into the ceiling via gaps and such. Definitely concerning when you hear it in the middle of the night 😅🦎🕷

Yes Tom Saxon is fantastic bought my 1st 3 old worlds from him at repticon 2021 and donated my mature male pumpkin patch to him about a year later but he got munched or didn't get job done. My mature make I got for my female as a bf did the job and he molted after I paired them so he is still alive after molting after mature but lost his pedipalps in the molt so yea it is rare . Beautiful T's if it weren't for you about 2 1/2 yrs ago watching ur videos I am now the proud keeper of currently 46 tarantulas. They have literally saved my life. The keeping of them got me out of a bad places and they are my happy thoughts and hours caring for and watching them grow. Thank you.

My P. metallica is actually one of my easiest tarantulas to feed and rehouse. IDK, I have always been able to nudge it in the right direction into it's home. it's also the only Poecilotheria in my collection that will let me mess with thier enclosure without bolting to hide. I can tong feed it and it's so polite lol. My P. regalis and P. rufilata are not as calm.

Absolutely love P. metallica, here's hoping it's a female so you can enjoy that vibrant blue longer. I've got one in my collection and she's definitely a speed demon, thankful her favorite spot to bolt to is her hide. My favorite out of my T's though would have to be my Monocentropus balfouri. Anytime I'm getting ready to feed her, she comes out to greet me, and does a little happy dance. Never fails to amuse me.

I bought 2 Pumpkin Patch slings from from an invert show. They did really well until I'd had them around 6 months. They were eating well both had molts. Then they both passed away within 2 days of each other. I was devastated. I haven't kept tarantula's since. 😢 I keep thinking about getting more, but I can't get over my two little ones passing, and having no idea why.

Woah those are so beautiful!!! The P. metallica is one I hope to have one day. I've always been afraid of spiders but thanks to you and Petko I got over my fear. A mature jumping spider walked into my house and I took care of him. Sadly enough he was very old and he died... But right now I have 2 other jumping spiders. I enjoy your videos and your enclosure setups!
