There was some interview where Kristen said that she goes to the lowest part of her range here (4:43), and that it's symbolic of Glinda finally connecting with her heart. It's a nice sentiment.

When my husband and I moved on from our first full time youth ministry, two girls in our group sang this song to us at our going away party. It didn’t help that they held a special place in my heart because I had help to mentor them; but it forever changed this song for me. I can’t hear it without thinking of that special moment, those special girls (both grown now) and how they meant every word they sang.

I just stumbled across this channel today and I have to say, I am emotional. I was always felt shut out by singers my entire life, I was never good enough to be with them or sing with them. Both women have A-MAY-ZING voices!! When singing together, it's magical. I've noticed over the years it's become more acceptable to have a "nasal" tone. During my vocal training back-in-the-day, if we sang "through our noses" instead of projecting our voices "through the tops of our heads," we got called out. Nasal was considered inferior technique. How do YOU feel about this subject? Love, love, LOVE your videos!! Proud to be a Tarabyte!! 💜🎼🎵🎶💜
