Great review, thanks. How does the points affect the flights when hit? There are no storm points in Swiss variation. Do you think they should do this or does the swiss point have no effect on impact?

Excellent question, at first glance one would think the hex shape of the swiss point would tear up flights...right? Wrong! The edges of the hex key shape are rounded to prevent this from happening and the groove in front of the hex shape is no worse than any other grip grooved point - storm points included. Storm points on the other hand are designed for deflection reduction and comfort by smoothing the front of the dart. As a result, close grouped darts do not rebound off one another as much, but instead slide against each other for tighter grouping.

Hello, unfortunately those barrels are a few years old and are now discontinued. You can find similar barrel shapes in other Target ranges like the Bolide or Sync range: a-zdarts.com/collections/target

Does the balance change for each version of those darts and which one would be ideal for a rear gripper?

Hello Mike, the SP01, 02 & 03 are all pretty close to a center balanced dart. They all have great reference points for a rear gripper. SP03 has a little less room to grip in the back since the center smooth section is placed further back. The Swiss line in general however has greatly expanded to include many new barrels fitted with the system found here: bit.ly/3nJjRmS
