Interesting. I would have liked to have seen follow up tests using heavier loads in a different, non-gas gun and see what people thought

At $200 I can afford to try every other brand of recoil pad BEFORE I even consider a Falcon Strike. 🤷🏻♂️

My 1012 is such a light gun that I absolutely needed something to dampen the recoil. Made a world of difference when it comes to follow up shots.

My 940 pro is about the softest shooting 12g ive ever had in my life and the factory thick soft factory pad....man i cant imagine needing it softer

I’m guessing by your comment you haven’t had many semi auto 12ga before ??

I have one on my Fabarm xlr5 Waterfowler. It definitely works. I don't know about 80% less recoil but I would say around 50%. Tried it on my 12ga SX4 and it felt like a 20ga. I'd buy another if they weren't so damn expensive!

I put one on my Beretta o/u If you shoot a lot, well worth the money in my opinion. It takes away i would say 40 to 50% of the recoil. I shoot trap, and i can run thru 200 rounds no problem with out flinching. It nice! prevents your muscle memory from reacting to trigger pull." If you shoot a lot, you know what i mean.

I put a Falcon Strike pad on my son's Elos N2 Allsport and his first shot with it , he spun around with his mouth wide open and gave me a thumbs up.

What are your feelings on the AllSport? How long have you been shooting it? Looking into getting one soon for sporting and trap

For a claimed 80% recoil reduction, one would think the shooters would be screaming WOW, what a humongous difference. I guess you have to play the unbiased roll...

Out of curiosity, why not shoot heavy turkey loads out of a non semiautomatic at a stationary target? I would think this would make felt recoil much easier to decide between.
@paulb79437 ай бұрын
This is exactly what I was thinking. Shooting loads that they admit already hardly have any recoil seems like the wrong way to go
@steringp14342 ай бұрын
It's probably the onlly way that they can claim a 80% reduction in recoil.

it doesnt sound like the shooters were that sure or felt a big difference. they all say “i THINK the one had a LITTLE less”. which im sure is true- but it that worth $200?
@hbracerx7 ай бұрын
I have one on my Browning O/U. We shoot trap competitively and shoot 200-400 targets a day (usually 300), sometimes 7-10 days straight. Well worth it. I think the reason they said a "little" less is these are already not producing a lot of felt recoil so it's difficult to lower it much more.

I literally did, bought one for my cz 1012 which i got off midway for $650. It definitely works but its not magic plus $200 is tuff mannn. Think the limb saver is like $70 nowadays would def try that first.

Notice how all of the shooter, except the last one, shot the blue gun first. Why didn't they do it randomly, so some of them would shoot the camo gun first?

Up to 80% recoil reduction? Sold!!
@steringp14342 ай бұрын
'Up to' is a big qualifier. That means it depends on the make and model of gun, the load, pump or semi, etc. So just because a certain brand and model semi, with an exra light load, reduces the recoil by 80% in the best of circumstances, doesen't mean yours will. Remember YMMV
