Totally making these! I’ve got some experience now steaming various things in banana leaves and taro is one of my favorite ingredients ever. My bamboo steamer is about to get a workout. 💪

Thank you so much, I love taro but not too crazy on beans, can I leave the beans out?

@@ThunThunChannel instead of cleaning the banana leaves with wet towel and run it over the fire stove, can I dip the banana leaves into hot water and let it dries out instead? Would it gives that elasticity when wrap not break easily?
@ThunThunChannel2 жыл бұрын
@@nhungnguyen1338 I've never tried that before. You can give it a try. I know some people who live in hotter climates let it sit in the hot sun. But it's good to wipe the leaves down because sometimes they have dust and dirt too.
