Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for your videos. I've tried at least 5-6 of your videos daily these days and they've been the most helpful ones I've tried without straining other parts of my body. I work in retail and due to my short stature, I've been struggling with a lot of RSI symptoms. Your videos have given me instant relief and reduced a great deal of my RSI symptoms. Will watch your other videos slowly one by one.

Super routine, esp for office workers sitting all day (with bad posture)! The last exercise esp helped release tight neck and shoulder muscles and my neck 'popped'; it had been stiff for about 3 weeks. Trying to incorporate these short routines daily. Glad these are short and easy to squeeze in. Thank you!!

Taro, I found your channel about 6 weeks ago. Have been doing a lot of your hip stretching. My biggest trouble spot is thoracic spine. I had a slip and fall 7 - 8 years ago and hurt my back T5, T7, T9 area. This Feldenkrais has been most helpful to me. I'm 67 years old and feel like my daily life is more enjoyable with less pain. I will be looking for more of your mid back mobility stretches. Thank You so much! Many Blessings!

Oh wow! The last stretch arm reach upward exercise is so good!!! You can feel the reach in the chest! This is a good mix, the 3rd one can get me a bit clumsy keeping elbows tilted while lifting one side up a bit. but appreciate all of these and can feel the chest opening up. Want to also say thanks for always reminding us that our bodies are all different and we can/should only do what our body is able until we become more flexible as we work to become more mobile. So important to remember that bec progress is diff. for everyone and the importance to not over extend arm up, which can cause some harm to the shoulders as you mentioned. Remember to B-R-E-A-T-H!! Lol, I find all your videos to be so realistic & the body movements are simple, easy to do and very calm!!! No strain on the body. QUALITY over Quantity! I feel I can achieve and feel better! Thank you very much Taro.

Thank you Taro. Finally got to try that exercise,much needed. Felt ‘more open’ after. Should be useful to try doing it after the seated hip mobility exercise that stretches the muscles around the thigh. Have to discipline myself to do it throughout the day. Have to.. have to. Thank you so much. m

Do you have any routines for eye hand coordination or eye muscle exercises?
@TaroIwamoto2 жыл бұрын
i don't have videos that specifically focus on eye hand coordination, but i often integrate eye hand coordination with arm movements. For example, in this video, when you reach your arm up towards the ceiling, you coordinate your eyes and head with your arm. Tai Chi would be excellent for eye hand coordination.

On the last movement, opening the chest and rotating the thoracic spine are you keeping each hip bone level constantly during the movement?
@TaroIwamoto2 жыл бұрын
you really dont need to try to keep your pelvis still during the movement as the position is a constraint to limit lumbar rotation and facilitate thoracic rotation.
@loisschultz88892 жыл бұрын
Thank you. You are most helpful and kind. I love the way you instruct.

I still cannot relax my right neck -- scalenes, scm, upper trap, right shoulder blade. All that area is pinching nerves that run down into my fingers and hand. Do you have anything specific for that? Like my right collarbone position is lost. I think all that is coming up from my frozen pelvis which is improving. But I have too much pain, but have no discs in my neck at all which makes me cry more!

mr. iwamoto i like to get your opinion on this matter. i have a pain shooting down from the back of shoulder muscle where it connects to the trapezius. it feels like a sharp burning sensation and it occurs only when i put tension on the muscles. for eg when i do bicep curls, shoulder extension it slowly builds up to the point where i have to stop because instead of the muscle of focus, ie; bicep, the tension builds up on the back of shoulder area and when i stop the pain goes away. i dont have any restrictions in moving my shoulder or my hands. i dont feel any pain when i do normal chores. i come from a place where proper health care is non existent and the doctor's that i have consulted just gives me painkillers and muscles relaxants.
@TaroIwamoto2 жыл бұрын
without actually seeing how you move, i really cannot say much, but possibly you compensate and destabilize your shoulder girdle and neck while doing those exercises, which could contribute to sensation you described. Does that happen when you do the same movement without a weight?
@fihtah82432 жыл бұрын
@@TaroIwamoto yes without weights too. like when i do isometrics for tricep i cannot stay for long because the pain will keep building up. the minute i release the pains subsides. and this is just the left side. i dont have any issue with the right side. there is absolutely no pain on my left side for any movement. it only happens when i hold the muscle in a tense state. i appreciate you replying to me. many thanks
