THANK YOU!! The Trieste / Valla is a deck which I am quite keen on learning more about b/c of information generously offered by content presenters [like you]….but I cannot seem to locate that book. Also can you please tell me where you got the facsimile images that you popped in….I would so love to see all of those or download them if they are available. As I am sure you know the modern MARSHMALLOW MARSEILLES - is based very closely on the Trieste / Valla deck and I would so love to compare the facial features with the facsimile. Thanks also for pointing out the similarities with the SOPRAFFINO [another deck I love]. I think you have hit the nail on the head….

Hi!! The images were scanned by the facsimile printed by Peter Ortmann. I do not own the deck. I had someone send me them just for the purpose of the comparison. I believe the Valla should be in the British museum but I’m not entirely sure about that. If you do a Google search it may come up
