I just got one recently and loved it so much I bought a second one for my wife! We can zip them together to form a larger pyramid tent with a zippered door. Very lightweight and practical and only requires 1 trekking pole. The only difference is we didn't get the carabiners with either of our shelters, but I think they should come with them so much I added ones of my own. I wonder if it's a difference between if you order in the USA vs. UK?

Add a plastic soda bottle cap to use to push the pegs in as per Blackie Thomas' video.

Instead of pushing on the end of the pegs with your hands you should put another peg or a stick at a 90 angle like a T and push them in with that. Heard about that on Blackie Thomas's channel.

hey Wooly, going into backpacking after a 20 year break and boy has things changed, could u do a video on walking sticks please? im not sure i need one but they are useful in camp for tarps and the likes. Have never used one so dunno what to make of em (alu vs carbon).

Hollywood is a great walking stick .. or ash . If you are going with convention , avoid walking sticks with holes , they sing in the breeze . Best of luck

Not something I have a lot of experience with, I do use one for tarps but it's the only one I've ever owned

I would use a walking cane out of fatwood or padauk wood - both are great fire starters for a ferro rod, too. For something lighter, a titanium one.

@@tatiananaugolnykh When I climbed Toubkaul in North Africa In each airport I went through with wood walking sticks it was fine.. for everyone else they were weapons. They were all confiscated for people without access to the hold Heathrow must be full of walking sticks
