I did simmilar with a 30 foot by 30 foot one time. The side poles were 8 footers. 12 people, chairs and a table under there on a rainy weekend of music. Had a fire about ten feet off the front.

Oh Yeahhhh, the Adirondack Tarp Shelter is my "Favorite", and the camo adds a whole another flavor to it. Stay Safe.

Is a great shelter for sure, I like how open it can be as well as good protection. The camo netting is a fun new addition . 2 panels for 13 bucks from Amazon, 5 x10 ft . Can't wait to have some more fun with those 😁

You a very welcome. So glad you liked it. This is definitely a great pitch and the camo netting added lots of fun as well as an awesome atmosphere inside😁

The camo netting was an excellent addition for that type of set up imo, because it not only helps with concealment, but also helps protect you during light rain showers, windy weather and it helps gives you shade from the sun during warmer seasons while providing enough air flow to aid in keeping you cool. Also it looks super cool from the outside and inside outside. Definitely gonna add this to one of "my tools in my toolbox" when I'm in the field. Thanks for sharing.🤨🤔😳🤯🤗🥰👍 Btw, where did you buy the netting and what are the dimensions of it?

😁 plenty of wildlife to be seen on this creek. Otter, mink, beaver, raccoon, deer, and bear! I have witnessed bald eagles dive in and bring fish out on many occasions here as well!

That's a nice pack...what's the brand...it looks flectarn

Thank you. It's a Mardingtop adventure 65 + 10 liter. The base pack is 65 liter, and it has the 2 removable side pouches that are 5 liters each . I believe that it is still about 100 US dollars on Amazon . I've had mine about 4 years now and really like it. It is a heavy pack ,around 5 pounds, but it is thick and durable for doing any Bushwacking . Many times I have carried at least 50 pounds while hiking and this pack carries the weight really well. I have smaller day packs that will start to aggravate my back with way less weight than this one with 50 pounds in it.

How does it work in the heavy rain.

This shelter is basically a beefed up lean-to shelter. It does give you a bit more protection than a straight lean-to, though. The sides do come forward to add protection, and the piece in the front gives extra protection as well. But it is not an enclosed shelter, so depending on what kind of storm you may be against, rain most definitely could be blown into the shelter. If I was going out to the wild and knew a pretty gnarly storm was coming, I would probably choose a more buttoned down pitch.

What kind of pack is that?

It's a MARDINGTOP ADVENTURE 65 + 10 liter. It is a great budget bag that is a little on heavy side but thick, durable material. I've had it going on about 5 years now . So far, it's been great.
