They should add an Endgame Crisis where one of the four major gods, decided either randomly or based on which one as the most corruption, began a massive incursion so rifts form everywhere and each of the major chaos factions get bonuses relating to said god as massive armies spawn. They only will stop when an army is sent back through the rift and close it. It gives a good excuse to re-use maps from the RoC campaign and will be an End Game Crisis that makes sense considering the theme of WH3.

This is when one remembers that actually Archaon outright hates the Chaos Gods and his greatest desire as their champion is to deny them their victory. If the Ordertide were to find a way to close the warp gates and banish the warp cheese-crack moon, its not unlikely that his response would be to celebrate and just disappear back into the empire as a random no one safe in the knowledge that Chaos cant touch him anymore.
