Is this a very noisy mixer? I know analog mixers will inherently be noisy but are these particularly extremely noisy units?

Hey Pete, thanks for the video on the Tasccam M208. its fantastic! I have one of these in my new mixing room, but i dont understand the Output section and i dont find any forum or much info about this in the internet. So here is my question: i assume that i can recordd up to 8 mono channels simultaneosly (or 4 Stereo) but how many different signals can i send at the same time out (to my souncard)? i dont see any direct output for each channel, but instead only 1 regular pair of Stereo out (which i guess is the master out), but then there is aswell this PGM out section (2 rows of 4 RCA each )....what is that for? and below that there seems to be also another PGM Row with four XLR slots. Can you help me get a clear idea of this? Thaaaank you very much and greetings from Berlin.

If I remember correctly (I sold this mixer), PGM out is accessed by selecting 1-2 or 3-4 on the mixer channel and panning hard left for 1 or 3 and hard right for 2 and 4. This should route your channel to XLR PGM outs. The original use for this set up was to get multiple mixer channels to one tape track. There also should be 8 individual PGM outs that connect via RCA. I believe you can get each channel sent individually that way. Hope this helps.

It depends on the type of amplifier. I would recommend using the stereo out to accomplish this.

Hey, INSERT can be used as a direct out from every single channel ?
