Over time all that depression, grief, and rage that hasn't fully been processed builds... Tash sonically reaches in, grabs all the negative shit and jerks it right outta ya! Just saw her in Oregon last month. As soon as I somehow wiggled myself to the front row I never left! I danced and loved every minute. I left that show sober and it took my old lady body days to recover from dancing so much! I started the show with the two drinks and nothing more because I wouldn't give up the space I was in! It was my second time seeing her live in over 5yrs. She's really something! See her live! Please!!

She’s so young and yet so talented and mature with her sound. She puts her soul into every little chord, beat, word sung...it’s just incredible. I missed someone like her, so authentic, so passionate, so raw, so from within. I feel my heart getting more space in my chest everytime I listen to her. That’s what music is supposed to make you feel I guess... when the person performing channels the power that lies in finding what truly moves you. @jakezeeman (and friends), I rarely ever leave comments on videos (literally, this is prob the 3rd time I've left a comment on some video in the past 8 years that I've been using KZbin as my main source) but I would really love to say, this was such a beautiful video. And I truly mean that. I've only recently discovered Tash but have grown to respect and appreciate and LOVE her music. I LOVE her passion and soul, which I believe to be one THE MOST beautiful/genuine/authentic/unique artists I've ever come across. As like most people, music is one of the most important sources in my life to help me heal and deal, ya know. I mean, who doesn't use music as a tool to help them find connections they couldn't otherwise feel, right? And I'll happily admit that I don't think I've ever felt this type of connection to any other artist/music like I feel when I listen to her music. I can't really explain it but it just helps me to better connect with myself and that's why I appreciate it so much. I'm extremely empathic which I think might be why I have that connection to it... Because I'm also feeling her connection and I can literally feel how pure it is. And that's why I wanted to comment on this video, because he REALLY captured how beautiful of a person she is- heart and soul, truly highlighted how authentic and pure her intentions are with her music, and how genuine her style and approach is to her listeners. Like he said in the end, how she always plays as if no one is watching her... #fuckingtruth man. For real. I give you much respect for your effort, energy and time you put into this video. I always feel bad because I was introduced to their music through a kind of awkward live performance that they just felt awkward and not quite there. I don't remember why I was having a really bad day and up until earlier this year I associated their absolutely wonderful music with some really dark, negative place I was in in 2017/8. Thanks to them working with Matt Corby I have definitely come around on their music and am hugely looking forward to their upcoming second album terra ferma and their music has been some of my favourite stuff this year. Here's hoping you end up making a follow up about them.

Just FYI it's pronounced Mel-burn not Mel-born. Australians also shorten it to something likke "Mel-bun" because of our accent we don't pronounce the hard R sound in "burn" "turn" "learn".
