The best part about Taskmaster is that the outtakes could fit perfectly in with the usual show. It's just a good time all around.

I enjoyed the no-audience environment for what it gave us for something new, but I'm more than ready to get back to the original style. Mostly for Greg's behavior, I miss how often sort of hilariously combative he'd wind up getting into with the crowd.

Watching Alex trying to direct the show while Greg keeps missing the cue while becoming increasingly upset is easily the highlight of these outtakes for me. It's such a great fusion of showrunning meets their unique flavour of on-screen chemistry. Also hearing Greg going on about his increasingly dynamic (read: lethal) roundhouse kicks is amazing

The fact that I laughed just as hard at the outtakes as I did the actual show just shows how amazing Taskmaster is. I love how every series has its own dynamic with the cast but also between Greg and Alex, sheer perfection. I mean I get why they cut the flying horseman bit because it runs a bit long but my god I was dying! Here's hoping for a great series 13!

The show is Alex's creation, and in the original Edinburgh versions he was the taskmaster. Obviously it works better with Greg being teacher, but all of the stupid tasks are Alex's responsibility.

I wish they'd do another one with every series' cast. Every series would have one person that ranged from 'doesnt really do it for me' to 'yeh gawds, glad we are seperated by a sea', but other than that every contestant was at the very least entertaing, but with great chemistry with a few others.

I loved this and series 4, 5 , 9, and 11 are my faves and this is headed towards that - I might be a bit alone on that, but the bromance in 5 and Noel’s absolute chaos sold me in 4. I couldn’t finish 7; the constant yelling isn’t my cup of tea. I love all of these guys though and I knew none of them before coming in, it they play off each other so well 😂
