My analysis of Joe's attempt: If you looks at the side profiling of his shoes worn in the attempt, you will notice the soles taper upwards towards the uppers at the toes of the shoes. As we all know Joe steps mostly on his heels which allows the toes of the shoes to actually ascend off of the ground leaving an open gap at the very end. In the footage of Joe's attempt on the controversial step, you can see a very slight shadow at the tip of the show under the toe leading me to conclude the following: As a representative for the Wilkinson vs. Potato court case, the jury demands a bonus 5 points in the inevitable "Battle of the Joes" episode starring Joe Wilkinson, Joe Lycett, Jo Brand, the movie JoJo Rabbit and current president of the United States, Joe Biden. You may be thinking the five points is a lot as a bonus, but most have speculated that it won't change much. Still, it will settle our hearts.

No, it said "this flame." They knew what they were doing. Did you not watch the video?
@mercifulzeus01 Жыл бұрын
@@caitthecat I think you missed what I meant there. Someone could just have gone and got the candle from the caravan, and lit it with the one that Alex had lit.

Not only could Desiree do it, she KNEW she could do it.

This just reminded me how much I loved all 5 people of series 12. Time for a rewatch.

I still don't understand how she drank that with her mouth open that fast. I can barely swallow a liquid with my mouth open.

I can do it too it's so natural for me that when I saw that task I was surprised most of them struggled with it
@SievertSchreiber Жыл бұрын
Yep, it was an incredible feat! I can’t do that

@@NT-lq3lq it is so unnatural to me. I tried several times and it just won't go down. Crazy

I would get a nasty case of aspiration pneumonia if I did that.

I find it very easy, myself. Just the sort of thing some people can do with ease, and others can't, I guess.

I will never tire of seeing Joes suffering during that potato segment... Alas Poor Joe. I knew him, Taskmaster.

Joe's potato will be forever the best and most tragic moment of the show

I've been able to drink like Desiree here since I was young, I didn't realise I had some bizarre and useless superpower until watching this

I think the Potato throw is the happiest I've ever seen Alex Horn. That moment is why he came up with the show.
@kleptrep94 Жыл бұрын
The Joe's Potato Throw is like watching a game of football, seeing someone get the ball practically on the halfway line skip through the entire defence, go past the goalkeeper score a wonder goal only for VAR to rule that he was like 0.0000025% offside so the goal has to be cancelled.

Joes potato throw is my personal favorite taskmaster moment of all time. It's perfect.

I’ve used Desiree’s drinking technique and it is really effective. Your best friend in that task is gravity.

If they put Joe's potato task in the middle of a 3 hour compilation of minor Oscar acceptance speeches, I'd watch that.
