The fish poster was a perfect in-joke for every New Zealander watching, especially combined with the baffled disdain from Greg and the other contestants. I'd bet that at least a few tourists from the UK visited their first NZ fish & chip shop, and immediately felt like they'd been given the punchline to an old joke. That poster is in *literally* every chip shop here.

I stayed in a motel in Taupo called the 'Trout fisherman's paradise' . The poor guy running it when he saw we had no rods... It was the only place available in a last minute booking over Easter. We all had those NZ fish posters above our beds! Also had 'best lures' posters in the kitchen area.

Indian Here, Jo I know from other shows and she’s great no matter whatever is going on. Kate and Rose I don’t know from anywhere else but I liked them right away, they’re very endearing. The younger guy I don’t like and don’t know him from anything else. I’ve seen I think half of this series and every episode he comes off as a downer and antagonistic. The other guy is just kinda lack luster to me. Bob Mortimer set the bar pretty high for the older guys.

I'd never in my life heard the name Rose Matafeo before settling in to watch series 9 of Taskmaster what's now those few months ago for the first time... when episode 1 started up, I thought, oh great, Katy Wix's is on this one, a great actress not enough people know about it and I've already got a decent sized crush on her, let this series' hilarity commence! hahaa Not long later... with all due respect still to Ms Wix, who I'm still quite fond of... but Rose Matafeo, AREYOUFRIGGINKIDDINGME lol Not only a wildly original and clever comedic mind, but this like blows any other crush out of the water. Just unnaturally adorable. and yet she'd fairly often during the series refer to herself as "reason 27 why I'm of course very obviously still single!"

It's not always about people being single and not being able to get anyone. It's about finding the right person. I've been single for 6 years now. If I wanted, it wouldn't have been difficult to find someone. I've had plenty of obnoxious people bothering me or friends that (disturbingly) suddenly started getting sexual. You can't just pick anyone. Especially if you've had a wrong one, you're not going to gamble with your heart untill you believe you've found someone.
