TASSIMO VIVY - How to descale your machine

Descaling your TASSIMO VIVY is essential to increase its life and to get the best quality drinks from your machine. Follow these simple steps to descale your coffee machine.
These instructions are for a TASSIMO VIVY 1 and 2 coffee machine:
1. When the descaling display lights up red, you should descale your TASSIMO VIVY
2. You need a container with a volume of at least 17 fl. Oz. and TASSIMO decaling tablets
3. Remove the water tank
4. Fill up the water tank up to the marking and add two descaling tablets
5. Insert the water tank back in
6. Remove the Service T DISC and insert the Service T DISC in the TASSIMO VIVY
7. Remove the cup platform and place the container beneath the brew head of the TASSIMO VIVY
8. Hold down the start/stop button for 5 seconds and the descaling program will begin
10. The first stage of the process is complete if the status and water tank display will light up
11. To continue you will need a container of at least 9 fl. Oz. and a soft cloth
12. Insert the cup platform and remove the water tank
13. Clean the water tank and fill it up to the 'Max' marking
14. Insert the water tank back in the TASSIMO VIVY
15. Place the container beneath the brew head and press the start/stop button to start the cleaning process
16. Empty out the container and repeat the program two more times
17. Fill up the water tank and your TASSIMO VIVY is ready for use again!
