Lifetime Indiana resident and while not traditional to use ketchup (I don't do ketchup or mayo myself) it's fine to experiment. I do mustard, pickle, tomato and iceberg lettuce. Sometimes I add American Cheese to one side while it's piping hot and let it melt over it. I've even experimented with a Nashville Hot version and a version with white gravy served on large homemade biscuits (both were great BTW). That's the fun thing about cooking, trial and error eventually produces something grand.

Looks delicious! As a Hoosier, I guess the only thing I can say is, we tend to pound the heck out of the tenderloin to get it thin. That's one of the reasons they get so large!

"Hey" from the Tampa Bay area of Florida USA. Hope all is well. Enjoy the heck outta ya videos. I get a kick outta watching folks enjoy food as much as I do. Pork Tenderloin is a big thing in my birth state of Iowa, USA too. Love me some moist pork with a crunchy crusty batter. Especially when accompanied by a Kosher Dill Pickle. Keep making the fun and enjoyable videos. Have fun and be safe. :)

I think you might like it better if you just use one of those pork loins cut it in half and then pounded it thin and fried it just the way you did, it makes it much easier to eat and more tender.

The pork tenderloin sandwich, if you eant it a little easier to eat, you need to tenderize the meat. Get it pounded so it is thin and wide. The bun should look tiny compared to the tenderloin itself. I am glad that you liked it though. These are an invention in my home state of Indiana.
@the_dog_says_moo29 күн бұрын
Those giant tenderloins are awful. All breading, very little meat. I'll take a smaller, thicker one any day.
@WolfsDE29 күн бұрын
@the_dog_says_moo I disagree heavily. My state invented the damn things. We know what we are doing. You are free to have your opinion, that is fine. I don't care about that. And understand, I am not talking paper thin. I am talking about half that thickness and going wider as a result. The meat is tender and allows for the flavors to really get into the meat.

Need a buttermilk biscuit put the pork tenderloin inside then melt some extra sharp cheddar cheese on the pork tenderloin that’s how they eat it here in North Carolina

Tenderloin biscuit is awesome. There is a local joint in Lexington, NC that does it just right.

Far superior to a hamburger bun.
@jasonwhoever552829 күн бұрын
I would take that extra sharp cheddar cheese and grate it. Combined with a little bit of Duke's mayonnaise. Some pimento peppers, and if you would like it a little bit spicy you can put as much cayenne pepper in it as you like. Top your tenderloin biscuit with your pimento cheese mixture. You can even drizzle a little honey over the top of the pimento cheese if you like. ❤ "SOUTHERN STYLE"

I don't care for sandwiches that are difficult to eat. You should have cut the pork in half and made 4 sandwiches. Heck I probably would have cut it to make the meat thinned too and made 8 sandwiches. I really think there is a perfect balance between meat, dressings, toppings, and bun to make a great sandwich.

We found the best tenderloin in a road side bar. Harolds in Missouri.
@tammycenter875728 күн бұрын
Your pork is too thick. You are supposed to hammer it out until it is really thin. Then bread it and fry it. That's how the pork sandwiches in Indiana are so big and you can still get your mouth over both buns when you take a bite
@ginao893529 күн бұрын
You two are funny. What you have to do with sandwiches like that is smoosh it down with your hand flat on the top bun. It’s the American way! 😅

Too thick, should be pounded THIN when tenderizing the pork loins. Culver's is one of the few chains to offer a pork tenderloin sandwich--it's good, though not nearly as big as some of the Indiana ones.

I just watched a video of this man visiting the three Guyanas in South America. The British Guyana, now called simply Guyana. The Dutch Guyana, now called Suriname. And the French Guyana, now still called French Guyana. It's interesting how these three Countries, although are connected together obviously by location, are so different from each other from European Colonization and language from each other. I find that Absolutely Amazing! That being said, I want one of those Pork Tenderloin sandwiches you've got To go! 🤩

NOBODY I know uses ketchup on pork at all (unless it is part of a sauce like BBQ or sweet and tangy sauce). Ketchup is really just beef or hotdogs and OCCASIONALLY chicken. Pork is mayo and especially mustard! This is from an American point of view (specifically Southern\Texan).

These sandwiches don't need tomato ketchup, but I highly recommend Dijon mustard over yellow mustard. They're fantastic.
@WolfsDE29 күн бұрын
Ketchup shouldn't be on a tenderloin sandwich. Mustard is good, mayo is okay, you can also do a version like the buffalo chicken wings and put the sauce on the tenderloin. In that version, I like some provolone cheese on it. (Some will argue for Blue Cheese, but I don't like Blue Cheese at all, so I go with Provolone).

Good evening. I hope you're well! I believe I replied to one of your comments on L3WG channel just a minute ago about using corn flakes when frying. It must be true that great minds think alike 😁😆😁😆 I love ketchup but I agree that it has no place on this sandwich. ❤

Great job as always.There's 2 mantras you can work on picking up as New Years resolutions 1) embrace the mess and 2) dainty it ainty.While your working on your jaw depth training you can always fillet the meat and on the new plain side have extra dry spice rub and use either an apple butter or bbq sauce tohelp the rub stick

The meat on most pork tenderloin sandwiches I've had when I lived in Indiana was much thinner. I would fold the tenderloin in half and eat the 2 layers together. Your sandwiches were too thick to do that.

Try seasoning the flour and crumbs before breading the pork. Try simple or various spicy.
@decolonizeEverywhere29 күн бұрын
Definitely cutting it in half helps but with these big messy sandwiches you don't ever use a fork in a knife you just have to learn is a lean. You eat sandwiches like this standing up and leaning over the table and the plate so nothing hits your clothes or the floor.
