@@TiaBeTrippin "That's horrible why are they even still a thing if they have so many issues". The short answer: Money. The long answer: Mooooonnnneeeeyyyyyyy. In all seriousness though (not sure if you're American or from the UK, so I'll answer as if you weren't from America so it makes more sense) is that unlike most modern countries, America has almost NO consumer protection laws, and most of our Regulatory agencies as rendered toothless by decades of Regulatory Capture and Corporate Lobbying. We have VERY little in the way of Campaign Finance laws and almost no rules about who can write the law briefs for our Congress and Senate. As a result, ALEC and money talks, almost exclusively and wholly to the detriment of the citizens. For a company to be shut down in "modern" America, you have to practically slit the throats of babies, puppies, AND kittens, simultaneously, in front of no less than10,000 kindergarteners. And even then, that will only earn you the chance of having your company investigated. But fear not! For a very paltry sum, you can pay a "fine" and it will all be forgiven though, so... I wish I was kidding, but while I'm being hyperbolic and colorful with my presentation of the facts, they are still facts. Take Herbalife for instance. It is another MLM/Pyramid Scheme. The founder had ZERO medical or nutritional training or education. He basically sold Meth in a bottle, plenty of people died and millions have been scammed out of BILLIONS of dollars. It took YEARS of fighting to even get to the point of having a congressional hearing on his and Herbalife's malfeasance. Even in the congressional hearing, he was cavalier and mocked the politicians claiming they were only questioning him because they were fat and told them they should use his products instead of trying him in court. In the end, even with all the evidence and his assholery, he walked out with a slap on the wrist and a weaksauce "fine". Herbalife is still around scamming and killing people today - 30 YEARS LATER. Hell, let me scare you a little more - Amway, one of the biggest scam/Pyramid Schemes is ENTRENCHED in American politics. How? Two of the heirs of the scam company are Republican Mega Donors; Former Secretary of Education (who believed there shouldn't be any schools and believed poor people shouldn't be allowed to go to school) Betsy Devos and her brother, the owner of Blackwater (or whatever their name is this week) MERCENARIES founder/CEO Erik Prince. Yep, one of the heirs owns a fucking mercenary company that has done A LOT of work for America and other dictatorships like Saudi Arabia, so they can use plausible deniability when violating the Geneva Conventions and International Laws. Erik Prince, the heir, is an actual war criminal. Those are the heirs to Amway, they and Amway are enmeshed with the politically powerful in America and many other countries. That is how companies like DoTerra, Herbalife, Amway, LuLaRoe, etc get away with so much. Power and money.

It takes a special kind of content creator to own up to a mistake, address it, and be transparent about the process. The first reaction is usually "How can I cover this up?" So my hat is off to you for taking the harder but far more ethical road.
