I also love Peruvian food. But it seems like ingredients like the various peppers (aji panca and aji amarillo) and herbs (huacatay) can be hard to find in places like the U.S and Canada (I'm located in the latter). And thank you for keeping an open mind about using/eating all parts of the animal.

It’s crazy bc we import so much from Europe but i agree, i feel like we are missing authentic imported Latin American ingredients. But honestly the result at home still tasted great AND it’s a great incentive to get my a$$ to Peru now! Can’t wait to try the real thing in person 😍

@@SkylerBouchard Yes, Peru is a must for any foodie! Their culinary scene is insanely good. When it's safe to travel again, I highly recommend visiting Lima and Cusco. The food in both cities will knock your socks off! My favourite Peruvian dishes are ceviche, lomo saltado, arroz con mariscos, arroz chaufa, pachamanca, and aguadito de pollo. And picarones for dessert. Not to mention all of their amazing fruits from the rainforest. I was particularly fond of lucuma and maracuya.

I think it’s wonderful to eat the entire animal! Otherwise it’s so wasteful! I hope to visit Zimbabwe someday as well and learn all about the food there 😍😍
