I really enjoy your laid-back style, Ed. Of course bottle digging while you're ill isn't what I mean, so don't worry about your viewers. We'll still be here if you need time off. Your round-ups are just superb. The bottles look like precious jewels, & I love the repair on the vase. Take care & stay safe. See you on the next video. :)

Those early screw tops really are nice, must've needed a steady hand to apply that. Got a few Terezols that have them 👍 I sometimes find "knobbly" clay pipes, I think they're supposed to resemble a Blackthorn Shillelagh.
@VintageParagonUk3 жыл бұрын
It fascinates me how well any of the applied top bottles are made, it must have taken a lot of skill to do. Thanks for the info, I like the variety of clay pipes, always something a bit interesting 🙂

04:37 That was my thought as well. I know it's made with chicory, but what else it contains I have no idea. :o According to Mirriam-Webster Dictionary, it is "the dried ground roasted root of chicory used to flavor or adulterate coffee." ;)

It sounds delicious when you read it like that 😂 I was quite surprised how nice it was to be honest, I was expecting it to be a bit bitter i think.

Haven't seen Camp coffee over here (Newfoundland) for years , but I loved it back in the 70s! Horlicks and Ovaltine as well......Oh my goodness! They still make Camp Coffee? Wow! Wonder if it's on Amazon? Probably you need to build yourself up with some Bovril! Take care of yourself buddy!
@VintageParagonUk3 жыл бұрын
You can still buy all of those things over here 😂 maybe I should take some bovril sandwiches to have with my Horlicks next time I go 😂😂

@jimmyrustler89833 жыл бұрын
Treacle is essentially Molasses 🤙
@VintageParagonUk3 жыл бұрын
As Jimmy said it is molasses, that is what it reminded me of on my first sip but looking back at it I think I poured in 2 or 3 servings of the Camp Coffee in that one cup so might have been a bit too much 😂
