I don't eat a lot of instant noodles, but these look much better than the stuff in our supermarkets in the Netherlands. I will give them a go when I'm in Japan this summer.

The last one reminds me of a stand in Kyoto at the Inari shrine. I hope I spelled that right. My husband ordered me the noodles with everything it had fresh seaweed, tarragon and mayonnaise. So good.

I've been buying my noodles online from Japan Taste...pretty expensive, but I've been enjoying all my goodies I receive directly from Japan. They are hard to find here in the states. I love anything and everything Japanese! Best quality, and they are very clean people! LOVE!

We have the Maruchan Yakisoba here... What I like to do is prepare it according to instructions (I only use 1/2 the flavor pack because it seems strong to me), and I pour them into a hot lightly oiled frying pan. Add a little soy sauce and maybe some Sweet n' Sour sauce. When the noodles get a little bit fried I serve them on Sub rolls. Really tasty.

Yakisoba is something I really like to eat but not readily available where I live. I have had the Myojo Ippeichan and Maruchan types and they were pretty good. I look forward to trying the others brands also now. Thank you!

When we were in japan 2 years ago my partner tried UFO for the first time and it had a spicy mayonnaise!!! In Vancouver we can't find the mayo one, but he still eats UFO almost every week 😝

I like that I can actually get some of these at my local Japanese markets. Idea: maybe think about a food hack style yakisoba recipe? Some of the recipes I've seen online are great, but they're really more elaborate than what I can handle at midnight... Thanks, guys!

Great review Brothers! I love love yakisoba! I will definitely buy some UFO brand at the Japanese market, next time. I was just there the other day with my son, and wasn’t feeling very well, so I forgot to look. I’ve definitely seen the Myojo, Nissin, and UFO brands of Yakisoba. The Miyojo Yomise one is my favorite because they sell in the USA and to me is the most authentic taste. I have never had real freshly made yakisoba, so I don’t know, but the Miyojo I think is the best.

Guys, I just totally had a dream about you two. I just woke up, and I had to smile because I dreamed that I came across you in a random grocery store where I bought lunch, and we got our desserts from the same section and compared, and I got something labelled tiramisu that was "Japanese coffee flavored" and you guys told me you got the cinnamon kind instead. Kind of silly. I actually had to look up tiramisu when I woke up because I've never actually had it in my life, and it amused me that it's actually a coffee-flavored dessert, but even though the name sounds like something Japanese, it's Italian.

YUMMMMY Yakisoba!!! I love the instant yakisoba, but we only have 2 kinds in my store, beef and chicken teriyaki.. :( The are delicious, but I bet my tastebuds would be blown away if I tried any of those. 2:19 most ramen I've seen don't use dehydrated meat. It's actually TVP, textured vegetable (usu soy) protein. Spongy and soaks up liquids quite well. Cheaper and lowers the risk of food borne illness, such as E. Coli.

I’ve only had the Myojo brand. That is what they usually have at the Japanese grocery store I go to. I will have to look closer next time and see if they have any if those brands.

Do you know how many bowls of UFO I ate before I saw the Nissin logo? LOL. I like Yakisoba that has oil in the sauce. The oil with the small diameter noodles gives the illusion of being fried. A very cool experience. My two favorites are Ippei chan and UFO. Depends on the day as to which one is on top. They are both great. I've been using Yami and have actually tried a lot of noodles discussed. That's allowed me to form an opinion, whereas before it was just looking in from out in the cold. LOL. I've found that surprisingly Japanese products vary wildly as much as their American counterparts. Some are great, some just flavorless swill with spaghetti. Great video, and I miss these. Thanks!

1. I love Peyangu the most. I like UFO the least. I also love Ippeichan's but it doesn't go on sale often so I buy Peyangu when it goes on sale ;) 2. Very funny story. My cousin's local coworker, who loves Instant Cup Noodles bought this instant Yakisoba one day to work, and made it. My cousin saw him eating, and saw the very dark colored soup. My cousin asked him what he was eating. It was Yakisoba. Apparently he never read the instruction, and made it as the way to make instant cup noodles; Poured sauce, poured hot water and waited for 3 mins. and ate it! LOL LOL LOL !!! I'm not joking. My cousin asked him how the taste, and he said good! LOL LOL LOL! My cousin taught him how to prepare the instant Yakisoba noodles, the right way! I laughed so hard! ! :)

interesting I will have to look and see if there is a way I can order some of those online somewhere, I have always wanted to try yakisoba and soba noodles before, the draining of the water is interesting too. I am not sure about the mayonnaise though, that seems very unusual but I would probably try it at least once, thanks guys for another great vid, as I said before I am a ramen freak and I enjoy seeking out as many different kinds as I can.

I have tried the ufo one before, idk it has same flavor with the one in the video or not. I like the noodles compared to other instant noodles that sell here, but tbh i don't really like the sauce. Maybe im just not too familiar with that kind of sauce.

Sounds like they both want to take a bowl of the U.F.O. Then add the Maruchan mayo, and possibly switch to the Peyoung sauce.

Our yakisoba here are much greasy. I love much dry. My children, daughter and son in law and my grandsons loves greasy yakisoba. I don't like much sauce on may fried noodles. heheheehe Nice video guys.

In general, are yakisoba noodles crispy/not soggy? I'm not a huge fan of most noodles because of the texture that makes them "taste" uncooked to me.
