This sauce is delicious with rice, chapati, potatoes, pasta, name it.
It can accompany any meal any time of day. And it is very easy to make.
I added this to spaghetti to have a type of spaghetti tofugnaise !
And it was scrumptious !
Ingredients :
300 gms Tofu
1 Red Onion
3-5 Cloves of Garlic
3 Tbs Olive Oil
2 Tbs Soy Sauce
1 Can Chopped Juicy Tomatoes
1 Vegetable Cube
1 Tbs Tomato Paste
Method:
- Firstly crush the tofu using a fork
- Then add the 2 tbs soy sauce in the tofu and mix well
- Peel, wash, crush and chop the garlic
- Peel, wash and chop/slice the onion
- Heat the 3tbs olive oil in a pot or pan
- Add the red onions and sauté until brown
- Add the 1 can of juicy chopped tomatoes and keep stirring
- Add the vegetable cube and mix well
- Add 1 tbs tomato paste and keep stirring
- Cover and let it cook for 5 minutes
- Serve with Spaghetti while hot
- Enjoy !
