Mr. Asir, you are facing Wind Noise at speed of 144 kmph and still it is not an issue. But you faced this issue on ROXX by cross speed of 100 kmph but not highlighted. So TATA did best in Aero Dynamics but still they are not promoting.

The seating comfort is not on par with the cars in this segment. I test drove yesterday. The seats can be compared with seats of Sonet, Venue and Nexon.The practicality of the cabin fails to appeal eg. No cup holders, no rear seat pockets. But the exterior design is really good . I don’t think it’s a worthy competition for Seltos, Creta or the Urban Cruiser High rider . Disclaimer : Iam not a Tata hater. I have a Tata punch AMT as a secondary car for city driving.

We all know cell phone batteries give off radiation and it is well known to not keep mobiles in shirt pocket, in EVs we are literally sitting above a giant battery. Will there be any effects on the body? 2. If used batteries are considered toxic waste, are we really supporting environment by going electric? 3. Is it not that we will always be pulling the battery weight whenever riding. If so, do you think it is not going to wear off the brake and tires sooner than normal vehicles? Radiation from cell phones are not generated by battery but by radio frequency signals. So there is no radiation threat from ev. Ev battery recycling will ensure that toxic materials are not destroying environment. After EV usage batteries can be used in other areas like home or workplace. Batteries weight will not wear off brakes. In fact in EV due to regen brakes will last twice the amount of time compared to ice car.

Asir Sir, need some help I have Fiat New Linea Manual 2016 upgraded model with Automatic lights, rain sensing wiper etc… Fully satisfied my requirements and currently provides 16 km in city and 22 km in highways. However as my city drive requirements are high I am looking for EV and automatic and Sedane like boot space etc. After seeing Tata Currv EV, it seems it ticks all the boxes like Fuel efficiency, Automatic, Boot space, SUV and sedane like look and with all modern features including ADAS level 2, I think I cannot say No for Tata Currv EV. Now there is no clarity on the below 1. How long the battery pack will last especially post warranty period(8 Years) 2. I heard that the cost of battery replacement is around 7 lakhs, is it true? 3. I am thinking now if I need to spend after 8 th year, then this is not worth. But if I need to spend after 12 to 15 years then it is ok Please help with your opinion and suggestions or you can do a podcast on this topic that will be helpful

Unless you driving 3000 km / month, there is literally no need for an ev. Ev is only for people with high driving usage which they offset the initial high price of purchase with cheap recharge+ that is only possible with solar plant at home which negates the price of recharge to 0.

Every month power consumption charges are increasing. If you are looking EV as a cost effective approach then you need to have a Solar grid at home. Still EV charging infrastructure needs atleast 5 yrs to reach common man and the battery recycling and reuse technology is far behind with no proper setup. Best choice will be semi or strong hybrid if you are clocking 2500 to 5000 kms per month ...If you have 15 - 20 laks budget go for toyota urban cruiser or Maruti suzuki grand vitara ..

Thaar Roxx rear door alignment is poor too. Fit and finish of Tata cars has niggles specially Harrier ans Safari . Curvv is matured. Rear alignment problem happen to major manufacturers and issue in Hyundai and even Mahindra had issues with XUV 500 initial batch and Scorpio N too .

I guess a car can be compared with a human body. A healthy body is the one supported with strong skeleton structure, muscle and body mass and good healthy heart. If any one is missing, it is sign of unhealthy body. Similary a good car should have a strong chassis, build quality and good engine and if any one is missing, it is not a worthy consideration. IMO, tata is still trying to be a good car but it is still not there. I have had personal experience like Punch giving engine issues during a hill drive etc. If you face one such issue, your entire confidence on that car is lost no matter what its safety rating is. I personally have owners Maruti (Alto and Swift) and I had never faced any issue with engine for 15 years.

Tata logo at front and back is biggest drawback. The whole premium design is destroyed by the tata logo. They have to redesign the tata logo
