I bought the tiago ev 6 months back, done 9000 kms in 6 months. I get 230-250 kms without Ac [ Don't need it ]driving in steep hilly region only. The regen is Fantastic, I am happy with the car. Ev is perfect for hills . Cons: tata has to improved it service and create a separate service centre for EV'S .

After 5/8 years u will knw... Now u can't say anything about long run about ev cars Because for normal people like me if i buy a car for 20/30 lakh i will use it for 7/10 yr minimum If u buy 1/2 lakh car it is other thing that change it every year

you get almost same range because while you up it consumes more battery but it is compensated while you come down because of regen.

Come 2023 and we have long range 350 km per charge in 12 lakh.

If batteries are getting issues at such low mileages, how can we rely on this car after warranty? 160000km is like 4 years of use. Your can't resale it at that point and driving it will be risky.

Calculation for 162000/- KM Nexon Normal Price 9.8L Petrol 1.62L/14= 11.6k*107=12.42L Maintenance 7*5=35k Loan 8L 8.7*72= 2.29L interest Total cost of ownership= 9.8+12.42+0.35+2.29= 24.86L Nexon EV Price 16.50 Electricity 1.62*2.5= 4.05L Maintenance 5*3k= 15k Loan 15L 8.7*72=4.30L interest Total cost of ownership= 16.5+4.05+0.15+4.30=25L That too you need to drive with so much plan and with speed limit of 55 to 60 and spending time to charge ..waste of time 😂 also if you want to sale no resale value as its out of warranty of battery.. for normal nexon atleast 40% to 50% cost you will get it.. Day one your EV emi 26.8K Normal EMI 14.3K If You do 12K monthly SIP for 8 years with 10% max returns it will give you 6.16L so your petrol cost will be 50% free

@@warrior_singh111 normal suv 12 km per litre milesge deti hai. 90 k km me around 9 lacs ka petrol lag jayega. Ev me 1 lac lagega. Ab jo tere 7-8 lac bache , use mutual fund me dal. 9 saal baad jab battery change karega tab mutual fund wale 7 - 8 lac 15 - 20 lac ho jayenge. Ab usme se 7 lakh nikal aur new battery lagwa. Baki still 10 lkh kbprofit me baithoge.

@@warrior_singh111 lfb battery is built to last over 3000 charging cycles without any noticeable degradation. 3000 cycles with each cycle giving an average of 250 km in nexon ev will last for over 750000 km. Itna petrol engine nahi chalega aapka.
