Dth channels doesn't comes in 4K. Also it's not possible atleast for 5 years. Yes this box is made ott apps only, so recharge when you want to use apps. I would not suggest this binge box if you are going to use it for dth, better go with hd set top box

Best combo is smart tv with normal set top box, 1st the hardware of a smart tv is much better then the smart box and in future if you disconnect the airtel set top box then also you can use ott apps on your tv because airtel will take back his set top box. Ott apps works only on internet connection so wifi is necessary on both scenarios. Hope it helps

I would say go with Airtel xstream box as it has Netflix also and its 4k also. Yes wifi is necessary but not compulsory, you can use it with your mobile data but the consumption will be very high. So you should be having enough data. If you want you can go with separate fire tv stick and normal dth box if its not available in your area

There is nothing called as OTT channels. There is dth channels which is provided by your dth provider like Tata sky or airtel and there are OTT apps which runs on internet. So dth channels will work till you recharge for it. OTT apps will work when you buy separate subscription for each OTT app and to run it, you need internet. Hope it helps

Go for atleast a HD set top box because you will get signals from hdmi cable to your tv for better quality. Don't buy binge + becoz your tv has everything which you need to use OTT apps whenever you want to. Hope it helps

Confused between 'Tata Sky Binge+', 'Airtel Xtreme' and 'MI 4kBox' Below is my requirement. I am going to buy Samsung Q70R TV which is based on Tizen OS. (So it will not be Android) Generally I use online Apps like Prime Video, Netflix (Use to recharge when ever some good web series released. ), KZbin, Disney Hotstar etc. DTH Channels, i use to recharge rarely when some one come from My native, i.e. I use DTH channels but not always. i.e. Rarely we recharge but yes we do use sometimes. I am having Airtel Broadband connection. Please suggest which one I should buy. As my TV will be QLED but not the Android. So need to look for Android box. It will really help me. Note: I do have Videcon D2H setup box (Normal i.e. Non HD. But I don't think its service is good)

Airtel xstream box main sirf Netflix hai or smart tv main mobile chal jayega tv pe otherwise ye smart box lene se bhi chal jayega.

Bhai main Airtel Xtreme aur Tata Sky Binge Plus Set Up Box mein confuse hun ki konsa lun actually baat yeh hai ki main box pr paise dene ke liye taiyaar hun but monthly jo recharge hota hai usko ekdam kam rakhunga like 250 something to kya mujhey bata sakte ho ki agr main itne ka recharge krwaunga toh Xtreme Box ka jo OTT funtion chord kr sab kaam krega kya like google play use kr paaunga kya app install krke run kr paaunga kya ?? aur yehi sab same cheez Tata Sky Binge Plus ke liye bhi batao bhai

You cannot expand internal storage of d2h stream box and for recording you can attach a pendrive or hard disk. Hope it helps

Yes, as long as you want to watch dth channels also then its worth it. But one thing is that, if you invest here and in future you disconnect the connection then they take back their box so one more option to buy a fire tv stick or mi tv stick which is not bound by tatasky. Just a suggestion

So that's why m thinking to upgrade to binge + as well as KZbin to chlega kam se kam normal tv pe...baki 6 mahine to yeh offer mein denge hi ott apps ke subscription... Baki agar fire TV stick ya mi TV stick bhi lu main agar toh bhi to ott apps ka subscription to lena hi hoga na...so why not to get it inbuilted in set top box rather than different gadget to use as interface... What u say..?
