Review of my tigor after 6 months 2000 kms driven second service done 1) Mileage to be precise 12-14 kmpl tested in chennai traffic with Ac upto 12-13. Highway 19 to 22 without Ac 17 to 19 with Ac. This was tested with full load. 2) Very stable car and corner cuts with stability control makes it effortless. 3) Vibration at idle condition is there. But running with music or in the running condition well isolated no noise inside cabin 4) Pickup yes it is a three cylinder. Car lags when taken from showroom or at that point. Ask the service center to check the pickup. Once service is done you abosolutely feel no lag. Instant push and effortless overtake. I took dzire today just easy at 100 5) Steering comfort boot space interior awezome 6) Ac a huge plus even at 2 speed with humid temperature instant cool. Very powerful even at rear. 7) Harman system sound so great After 6 months my honest review i will give 9/10

Good review. One suggestion, while placing the camera, position the car in such a way that the sunlight comes from behind the camera. While you were reviewing the rear end of the car, since the camera is probably facing the sun, your face and the car look have got darkened.

You can get 4 cylinders from Dzire petrol with better resale value, and tigor will get vibrate after reaching 100 kph, but you can't feel the vibration in Dzire upto 130 kph. And Dzire has much more superb interior and back seat AC vent too

When ever i take our family car, Wagon-R Stingray to the open roads with 4-5 people on board with heavy stuffed boot, i really feel an upgrade to a compact sedan or a mpv(in-line 4). My car's weak link is the engine. It is 1L K10B 3 cylinder with 68 hp & 90 nm torque is best suited for city drive & also tall boy design. Tata had given this 1.2 Revtron NA engine in 3 cars. Tiago, Tigor & Altroz which have different kerb weight, tiago is lightest & altroz is the heaviest which makes tigor a perfect c-sedan for a family. Turbo is good addition but people don't know how to maintain a turbo charged engine would bring disaster. IIRC only 3 c-sedan has in-line 4 cylinder petrol engine as of now. MS Dzire,Hyundai Aura & Honda Amaze. Unfortunately none of the car had scored not more than 3 stars in Gncap.

Tata motors promised price protection for customers who have booked on or before 18th jan 2022. I have booked car on 7th jan2022, But dealer in bangalore kht motors denied offer, regarding this I have talked to customer, Tata motor , also told same thing, this kind of unethical businesses will never sustain, Don't but tata cars..like me many customers are suffering.

Hi Birla, Thanks a lot for the useful content, the way you articulated and presented was excellent and it helped me a lot. I have actually planned to buy Tata Tigor (XM) but while I was seeing Fasial Khan's review on Tigor he said that the engine doesn't have enough power and it seems to be mediocre, also Tigor user's have commented that sudden overtaking is hard and engine seems to scream beyond 90 Kmph. Eventhough Tigor is not a driver's enthusiastic car, my question to fellow Tigor user's 1. Whats your take on Tigors engine compared with Maruti's 1.2 dualjet VVT and Hyundai's 1.2 Kappa? 2. Can I trust Tigors engine for longer run? 3. Is Tigor's engine heavy duty (like long travel/hill rides?) and 4. How is the quality of mechanical parts used in Tigor (is it wearing out after some km's).

I think I can answer this well. I also saw faisal khan and that is my tigor in the video. 1) Enginewise if you compare the power this may not stand first with maruthi or hyundai. But certainly reliable and smooth. 2)There won't be any engine issues. Longer are the days gone when indian manufactured parts were not good. They are now delivering world class products. Tata cars are really good. 3) Again this is a myth there is no pull or power lag even with full load over in the hills. Tested personally taking it to the hill. Not even lightest strain seen in engine. I went with four people. 4)It is built on x1 adapted platform. All the parts are well sealed inside front cabin and insulation is perfect to avoid NVH. Only the inside has been given hard plastics like old indigo indica. But it is still premium than their plastics. Faisal khan gave a biased review for tigor. Not every one says the truth. That is why i wanted to give a user experience. Go for tigor XM without any second thoughts. You will never regret

yes it won't be an issue. You can go with the spare wheel upto 200 kms and maintain a speed of 80. This is what company prescribes

I would prefer Tigor over Punch, mainly because of it's stylish looks. Punch looks more like a hatchback. And Punch looks very tiny on the road. Tigor has a better road presence.
