It looks good but if you have leftovers the lettuce will be wilted so I’m thinking I won’t put the lettuce on and just let everybody put their own lettuce on that way when you have leftovers and reheat the lettuce Won’t be wilted

I spent a lot of time in the hospital at one point for over a month. During that period of time all I wanted to eat was Big Mac's. Thank goodness my spouse was very happy to bring them to me!!

This is definitely worth trying. All the flavor and goodness of McDonald's Big Mac without having to bother to actually drive to McDonald's and wait in line or go through the drive-thru . This is definitely gonna be a family favorite.

This was delicious. When I was eating it, I missed the bread. I just made it again but I turned the recipe into individual Big Mac Tarts. I bought sesame seed buns, split in half, rolled out the half bun slightly. Buttered the bun and put it buttered side down in an oversized mini tart tins. Put the beef mixture over the bread, topped with cheese and 6 tater tots. Baked at 400 F for 35 minutes. This way I can freeze these and pull out a few of them later for a future dinner. I live alone so a whole 9 x 13 casserole is too much for 1 person.

Absolutely great casserole! One edition that I would add to bring home the Big Mac taste is you got to add the sesame seeds and I would add them right next to the beef. Sprinkle the seeds all over the ground beef mixture because if you put it on top it's going to get lost in between the tater tots and the lettuce. So that's the only thing that I would add to drive home that Big Mac flavor!!

Made this last week when I first saw it. It was one of those nights when I wasn’t sure what we were having for dinner. But I was able to pull ground beef (already cooked) out of the freezer & put this dish together. Very good & tasted exactly like a Big Mac!

I'm going to be making this for supper tomorrow. Why not tonight? Because I have leftover Sour Cream Noodle Bake (your last casserole video, I think) in the fridge that we are going to eat again tonight. It's just me and the hubby at home now, but I love to make casseroles and he loves to eat them. I often wind up dividing left over casseroles into 2 portion sized containers, shrink wrap with my foodsaver, and freeze. Then when I don't feel like cooking, I can microwave one of these and have a delicious home cooked meal in minutes. But it's Big Mac Tater Tot casserole tomorrow night.

Here to say my family (including my in laws) flipped out over this casserole!! In reference to the shredded lettuce and left overs ... it was even better the next day, after all, the lettuce is that way on a Big Mac from the hot meat and cheese anyway (or like on a whopper). I did add a layer of American cheese slices then the shredded cheese before the tater tots. The American cheese melted and bubbled up, mixing with the shredded ... YUM ... my teens have asked about it several times. Going back in the rotation for next week!
