Thank you so much for this! I don't use black shadows much either, but I want this palette to just *slightly* pull me out of my comfort zone of mostly brown and peachy pink mattes. When you added just the touch of glitter at the end of the evening look, I was so impressed with how it elevated without going overboard. Ach I need this for Christmas! I wasn't sure at all, even though I was drawn to it, because I wasn't sure how to use it with my hooded eyes. The 2 videos you've done on it so far have been so very helpful. You're the best!

And again Gorgeous! both daytime and nighttime Of course you can do a black/gunmetal smokey eyelook, I feel that you could take the transition shade (soothe,matte) under the eyes too and you would still look stunning. I love how much inspiration you can get for hooded eyes on youtube now. I also have very hooded eyes. Do you have any tips to preventing dark makeup (eyeliner) from transferring higher up on the eyelids? Whenever I put on eyeliner (pencil, shadow, waterproof etc) or a darker shade of eyeshadow then open my eyes it will make a line higher up on my eyelid.

Set your eyeliner with an eye shadow that is the same color. If black eyeliner, dab black eye shadow on top

Also helps if you use a long-wearing, waterproof eyeliner and only draw the slimmest line as close to your eyelashes as possible or learn to tight line your eyeliner

Also, my eyeliner will transfer to my upper hood if I dont at least put on a bit of eyeshadow on my lids. Eyeliner and eyeshadow will transfer if that's all you are wearing. At a minimum, wear a nude eyeshadow

I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I remember Koren Zander (EnKore) when I first found makeup on KZbin. I have a set of his first makeup brushes and still use them. Hey Britt, 😃, so a couple things: First, I stumbled across your channel yesterday, and I'm sooooo glad I did because honestly, I often feel like I'm the ONLY one on the planet with SEVERELY hooded eyes. Yours seem to be quite hooded (but beautiful) but not AS severe as mine. I just have a TON of "eye-fat"!😅😨 And I feel like WE NEED great tutorials on the how-tos of creating stunning eye looks.
