Such a shame that Tattletail never continued on from this point. Honestly aside from some weird gameplay decisions, Tattletail could have still been popular with all the other games like Fnaf and stuff. I think this little adventure tro some "mess memory" thing was interesting and the end was nice, but what's next? The only thing i could think of is Mamas or more of the company backstory, but with the fact that our protagonist is a kid, how would that work? @@LierShadown I'd think that a backstory on the mamas wouldn't be right until you get the company's backstory, seeing as that'd be a more proper way of telling a story, like a "this company was run by someone who believed they could bring back the dead and they came up with the idea of creating this as a vessel" sorta thing. You understand the company better, and understand how a certain something came to be haunted. Then the backstory of whatever thing it is, what it's design is inspired by, what was done to make it haunted, whether or not the people who stated the projects idea worked as planned. Or both backstories at the same time, like as you learn about the company you also learn about their products. A new protagonist would seem like the right move, as the protagonist could be a victim of the company's testing. Or someone who worked in the company itself finally coming clean and telling their side of the story. Or it's the kid who is now grown up, and is exploring the company learning about it's dark secrets. Sorry for the long ramble. I try to answer questions as logically as I can, and sometimes I do this. And I also tend to get off tract because of it, but I hope that I was at least a little bit helpful. 😅

My theory is that the Kaleidoscope was never a place where memories were stored, it was the place where Mama was banished to. Waygetter used the protagonist as a test dummy to try and free Mama from the Kaleidoscope.
