Okay, so I think we can all admit that back in the early 2000's, we all would have bullied the owner of this car. However, in 2022, it is unironically a legitimate historic artifact, no one will EVER build something like that again, it is a piece of history that will never be replicated, it is literally like the Pyramids, who knows why it happened, but it did, and for as insane as they are, they are artifacts that deserve to be protected and preserved for all future generations to see the insanity of the creative minds of the early 2000's. Stick with me here, what this is, is an homage to the 1930's and the coachbuilt cars that were driven by the elite, think of the 1938 Hispano-Suiza, or the 1925 Rolls Royce Jonckheere Aerodynamique, and so many other examples, no one can convince me that you looked sane driving one of those back in the 1930's, you looked like a proper crazy person in one of those vehicles, just like you would look like a proper mental patient if you drove that Civic around. Creative geniuses are ALWAYS seen as insane in their time, it's only ever in retrospect do we realize that they did something cool. What I'm saying is, that kid did something special and it deserves to be rebuilt and properly preserved, it might literally be a future classic.

Actually it is awesome to see this car again. I can't wait to see what happens honestly I want you keep the body kit, but maybe functional. Adjust the spoiler angle, wide tires, front splitter? make it a little track weapon that would be so cool. Oh and a different swap than a K swap keep the b in it or go with the G23 swap.

Leave it to Tavarish to dig up a relic that looks like it was sitting on the bottom of a bay for over a decade - and love it.

remember - this was built by a high schooler in his garage so imagine how much he learned building this car. much more than the haters with a philosophy degree who works at starbucks and thinks they can do better

In this day and age, where there are more Unfinished project cars than original examples, I can’t be the only guy who wants to see these cars being restored to their original factory spec glory.

I think if it was preped right, restored and update with the right engine, wheels and interior and paint it could look sick, but it's not gonna be cheap.

you should swap the new civic type r motor in there!! k20c would be a great platform for that iconic car!!!!

This car deserves to be turned into an actual performance vehicle, from all mouth no trousers to walking quietly with a big stick. I reckon turning it into an awd k24 swapped drag strip car would be amazing

I honestly like it, at least design wise, it doesn't look bad (I mean look at the Bugatti Civic)

Just out of historical worth this car shouldn't be scapped. I hope something comes out of this 'project'...

Well.. you're not the only one after realizing that it wasn't just some cheezy cheap fiberglass clunker. But I would Love to see this embracing it's early 2000s flare if they plan to rebuild it!

These cars were sick and still are. Craftsmanship not just some bolt on wide body. It’s true creativity and cars like this are the reason jdm culture even exists in the western world

The fact that this thing still exists is amazing to me. I've known this car, basically as long as I've used the Internet, I for sure thought it had been crushed. Also, I felt that hoarder line 🤣
