Great story for everyone. I was living in La Mesa, California and we had a garage sale. I was selling some crappy baseball cards (commons) and there was a card of pitcher CHUCK FINLEY. This beautiful tall girl walks up to me (I was about 20 years old) and says, that’s my fiancé. It was Tawny and her family and she told me she lived in San Diego. We chatted for a while and she was super cool. Of course I wanted her to be my girlfriend, but I knew that wasn’t happening, LOL. She was very sweet and I’ll never forget that. Tawny Kitaen showed up at my garage sale, lol.

Very cool story. Thanks for sharing. I shared a class with her at Taft junior high school, in Serra Mesa. We were in the same drama class and did a Valentines Day play where I played her obnoxious boyfriend. It was a lot of fun. I believe her family moved from Serra Mesa to Pacific Beach since she attended Mission Bay High School.

How cool, lucky you - she sure was just stunning! Tawny always seemed like a cool person too. At the time i was just coming into puberty 13-15 and very much part of the Mtv generation, so you can imagine how we all felt about her. All these years later and still shes a unforgettable beauty, for some reason her image from the Whitesnake videos is forever seared into the consciousness. Thanks for sharing this, it was a fun interview! (I really miss the late 80s, everything seemed fun & lighthearted all the time) Question: Do you still have all the cups with the autographs & the bite taken out of them?

Actually the monster was her. She was a serial domestic abuser of both her husbands & previous partners. She had major anger issues. She actually stabbed her second husband repeatedly in the head with her stiletto while he was trying to drive. The only reason she got away with it was due to a mixture of pretty privilege & men were too embarrassed back then to say their wives beat them up. Today she’d be locked up.

Then all the Whitesnake videos. She was a stunningly beautiful woman. We were truly lucky to be young in that era today's youth are being cheated big time.
