This is why I love Taylor…the fact that she writes all her music. Hence why in interviewers that she comes off as super passionate and upfront about her rights as an artist. It’s not super common that artists are “allowed” or have the “skills” to do so.

Taylor swift has sole songwriting credits on about 1/3 of her library (Speak now was completely written by herself; she wanted to prove to the industry and people she could do it all by herself l) and she has writing credits on all her songs. I could have killed Damon Albarn when he suggested Taylor doesn’t write her own songs. It is just an outright lie. And for the song she co-writes the majority of them she rights 60-80% by herself and basically has help finishing them off or making some edits. She is an extremely hands on artist and songwriter.

FYI, Pete Wentz is FALL OUT BOY's bassist and lyricist. I'd say he's one of the most clever male artist-lyricists in our generation. Taylor has said the same thing about Pete being her inspiration and has impacted her lyricism so much in the past. Blank Space lyricism was heavily inspired by Pete's style of songwriting. Some of his greatest lines (in my opinion) are: 1. all I can think of is the way I'm the one who charmed the one who gave up on you - what a catch donnie 2. the person that you’d take a bullet for is behind the trigger - miss missing you 3. and I saw god cry in the reflection of my enemies and all the lovers with no time for me and all of the mothers raise their babies to stay away from me (golden) 4. may the bridges I have burned light my way back home (fourth of july) 5. penny for your thoughts but a dollar for your insights or a fortune for your disaster (DYKWITIA) 6. i'm just a notch in a bedpost, but you're just a line in a song (sugar we're going down) you can tell how they have similarities on how they put simple easy-to-understand words together into such brilliant lyrics. I hate how his talent is so underrated because vast majority of modern male singers don't really put a lot of effort on their lyrics.

Taylor Swift is a spectacular and talented artist but when you say that she is the only one who has all these elements in one person and the others have only one of them, I do not agree with that, I know that there are many who also have the same and even if they don't have them the same they are considered valuable and not just fans who make music in this industry and I say it by your expression to mention the other artists and that "it's the only thing they do" and you will understand it when you meet other new artists for example Ariana grande that until now there is no reaction to her music on your channel you would be surprised how spectacular and multifaceted that she is, and I wonder if charlie puth, codplay, selena Gómez, Ed sheeran and Olivia Rodrigo will be on that list where is taylor?

I've never watched the movie Cats but i heard it was trash (creepy CGI i think..?) and apparently many, even the non fans thought Taylor was a saving grace of that movie. I'm not sure about that tho, i don't think i want to watch it because the cgi from the trailer itself looked weird 😂
