I made this compilation of Taylor talking about songs she wrote for her albums she's made this year to showcase how talented and brilliant her mind is and also to help you understand the meaning behind each song a little better. Hope you enjoy it. Merry Christmas to all of you, have the happiest holidays. Take care, I love you. xxx

She is hands down the greatest songwriter of our generation. I can't believe that for years interviewers would just ask her about bs like her love life and stuff and not ask her about her songwriting process and melodies.

she maybe is one of the greatest in our generation....but thats really not a good sign for our generation....there are still hundreds of better songwriters in the history who are like on a whole other level of being lyrical....she's a poet, but she's a poet for sixteen year olds...

Her vocabulary is so advanced Edit: this comment was a compliment, you probably couldn’t tell because I put no emojis. This comment was not meant to imply that me or others are dumb and need an education. Our level of English is determined by our interest in the language. There is absolutely no need to get fired up in the sub-comment section. also we all know the education system is f*cked, Taylor expanded her vernacular through interest in poetry and literature. College didn’t do anything for her it was all on her own. Thanks for reading

This is a real album, like the old ones, with a theme and an idea to tell throughout all the songs, hit albums are so bad, the storytelling and the connections within the songs is magical and intriguing, you just want to hear more of this amazing story, surrounded by great quality music and a beautiful voice

The best song in her discography is My Tears Ricochet. The story, the lyrics, and the production are absolutely magnificent. She also wrote it alone. All Too Well is great, but it doesn't compare to MTR. It's so amazing to watch her evolve as a songwriter.

What strikes me is that not only is she a very talented musician, lyricist, performer but also a deep introspective philosopher. The broken mirrorball person and the societal fascination with that brokenness is a strikingly deep perception.

Taylor deserves all the success she has. It's so rare to find people who love song-writing so much. She's been writing about all the things she feels, every little emotion that is confusing or hard to process. Tim McGraw, Fifteen, White Horse, Don't You, Enchanted, Mean, Innocent, Long Live, Sparks Fly, Dear John, Back To December, The Moment I Knew, All Too Well, Treacherous, Red, I Almost Do, Clean, New Romanctics, Welcome To New York, Wildest Dreams, Blank Space, Out of the Woods, You're in Love, Delicate, Call It What You Want, New Year's Day, King Of My Heart, Dancing With Our Hands Tied, Lover, The Man, The Archer, Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince, False God, Cornelia Street, Death By A Thousands, Soon You'll Get Better, Afterglow, Daylight, Cardigan, Exile, My Tears Ricochet, This is me Trying, Hoax, the Lakes, Mirrorball, August, Seven, Champagne Problems, Tolerate It, Tis The Damn Season, Epiphany, Marjorie, Coney Island, Ivy, Evermore, Right Where You Left Me, Time to Go, Cowboy Like Me, Only the Young, Beautiful Ghosts, Ronan, Better Man. I think these songs are the best she's ever written.

Your midas touch on the Chevy door. November flush and your flannel cure.....oh god...I love her so much for how beautifully she is articulating her vocabularies .... Champagne problems is my most favourite Taylor song ever after back to December 😭❤️ And the way she said that she's having a file of her favourite words...and now I just want to have a look at those words❤️

Her ability to empathize with different human experiences and write about them so eloquently is amazing. I.e. this is me trying is such a great song for someone struggling with addictions - something she hasn’t experienced but still has ability to understand it and feel for that person. It’s truly beautiful. And epiphany is also such a good example of her empathy.

I wrote this song right after I found out all my shows were canceled and it’s like, ‘I’m still on my tightrope, I’m still trying everything to get you laughing at me’, so it’s like, I realize here I am, writing all this music still trying. And I know I have this excuse to sit back and not do something, but I’m not and I can’t, and I don’t know why that is. -- Taylor on Mirrorball. i cannot, huhu this girl.
