The moment you realize that the piano version of "forever and always" was the original version but BM had it "remixed" because "there were already too many sad songs on the record" and that the only reason they let her add it to the album in such a short notice was because they thought it would generate buzz since the song is about joe
@aurelia5213 жыл бұрын
Omg for real?😯
@zx7-rr4862 жыл бұрын
Well, it wasn't "re-mixed", the original album released version was an entirely different recording. So basically they recorded two versions of the song, and decided to go with the up beat rockier version. Personally I think the rockier version is fantastic, and should have made the album as it did, given that there is only so much space on a CD. However, they did release the piano version on the 2 disc Platinum version of Fearless.

I miss the Baby though... it had the intimacy of "We called each other baby very recently and I'm still used to calling you that in my head"... in her new version it's showing how it's less emotionally true anymore for her because she couldn't bring herself to say baby this time around... thanks for mentioning this to make sure I'd notice... @melaniemitchell94193 жыл бұрын

Please tell me 'Cause one second it was perfect, now you're halfway out the door And I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all And you flashback to when he said, "Forever and always" Oh, and it rains in your bedroom Everything is wrong It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone 'Cause I was there when you said, "Forever and always" Was I out of line? Did I say something way too honest, made you run and hide Like a scared little boy I looked into your eyes Thought I knew you for a minute, now I'm not so sure So here's to everything coming down to nothing Here's to silence, that cuts me to the core Where is this going? Everyone I listen to, and like a little bit, I still always think in the back of my mind, "but you can't write like Taylor". Everyone is all hyped about Adele, and she has a great voice, but.... she can't write like Taylor. Or play piano. Or play guitar. Or make me feel everything she's feeling. And that's not a diss on Adele, it's a huge shout out to Taylor, and how lucky we are to have her in our lives. She is just SO gifted.

I 100% agree with you. I love Adele but Taylor has a special touch to her songwriting that makes you feel every word she says🥲

I realized that Taylor deleted some of the word “baby” from the lyrics. I would rather think it’s because Joe is not her baby anymore. Love that ❤️

I do love that she did this for herself because this is what felt right for re-recording. ;)

The absolute, biggest joke is people coming within like, 5 mins of the release of the song and unliking it without even listening to it first😂 dude Taylor lives and feeds in your mind. She already won!!
