I have been a fan of Taylor swift since 2006, when I was 8 years old. I found Ed Sheeran on a radio app that only got British stations when I was 12 years old and have been high biggest fan since. These two people quite literally raised me. I am 23 now and a mother and they are still the two people I listen to and cherish the most. I am so proud of how far they've come in both their individual and intertwined lives.

Back in 2006 i was 6 and a huge hater of taylor swift cauee my 3 sisters and mother played her music all the damn time and i just wasnt having it, until about mid 2020, in which i discovered the nostalgia of "taylor swift", "Fearless", speak now" and "Red", i fell in love with all the albums and then i had just found out folklore and ever more were two very recent albums of hers and since then i have been nothing but in love with her music.

If you read Taylor's voice note, she infers and emphasises that this is what she wanted to release for RED originally. When listening to this song it reminded me of "Photograph" in many aspects. Photograph sounds a lot like two people saying their goodbyes because one of them's leaving, while in Run, it sounds like these two same people have found each other some time later, but are doomed to part once again, but their real wish is to stay together, so the whole song is about them daydreaming about running away together if they could. Some interesting parallels are the following: "Oh, you can fit me inside the necklace you got when you were sixteen" // "There's a chain 'round your throat, piece of paper where I wrote ' I'll wait for you'" (also 'wait for me to come home' fits here with the 'I'll wait for you'). "So you can keep me inside the pocket of your ripped jeans" // "And the note from the locket, you keep it in your pocket since I gave it to you" I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else, but I think it's a beautiful theory and I wanted to share it to see If anybody else feels the same way about these two songs!
