I work in Festival Production....Dave Grohl is one of the most down to earth persons I've ever met. At Something in the Water in Virginia Beach he came down to the catering tent and cooked a brisket that he served to the staff and made some barbeque sauce to boot. I missed the meal working and actually heard it 'left something to desired' (it's the South , there's a very high bar when it comes to brisket even if your Dave Grohl) but none of that matters because nobody had ever done anything like that for us before in over 20 years of doing this gig!

I lived in a homeless shelter for close to two years about 4 months ago and he also came there there to give a BBQ dinner for us one day. He took photos with a few participants too. Sadly I was too late to get one. He's the only famous person that did something like that in the over four years I lived in shelters in Los Angeles .God bless him always!
