Well, just like what she said in Karma: _Ask me what I learned from all those years_ _Ask me what I earned from all those tears_ _Ask me why so many fade, but I'M STILL HERE_ She has reached many peaks and pits throughout her entire career. I thought the several *(insert award) of the decade* was it, but she's reaching different heights in her ventures in the new decade. I'm with her, alongside millions of fans, when the world turned their backs on us in 2016. Others might say she's overrated, but I believe she is perfectly rated and she's getting all the love and acknowledgement she deserves and worked hard for throughout the years.

I can't get over the line, "We were born to be national treasures." Taylor Swift and Harry Styles are two of the biggest pop stars of their respective countries and it perfectly captures how much pressure there was for them to be the perfect couple, always in the international public eye. I'm seriously addicted to this song?! Like what?! I can't help replaying this and "Hits Different", and "Is It Over Now," "You Are In Love," "New Romantics," "Say Don't Go," and "Stop You're Losing Me" -they all seem to fit together in some sort of strange seamless playlist - I just truly-love this woman. Her ability to write brilliant emotional lyrics, and such beautiful melody, while also conveying so much of who she is as a person with her words and vocals, is just beyond my meager comprehension, but darn I love her for it!! Taylor's music feels like a lifeline for me, something to hold dear, and hold onto tightly at that, to save keep me afloat if i feel lost at sea, or drowning in my depression/anxiety/OCD, etc;- Her music breathes fresh air into my mind.♥

for Y'all The reason why some songs from the vault sound more like midnight than 1989 is because Taylor doesn't sing with her high pitch or her high range in all the ftv songs, she only uses it in a few choruses and background vocals, not how in the original 1989 where she sings most of the songs with a high pitch, but these ftv songs are with his low register that she has used since folklore-midnights (it is a residue of the folklore era) that's why the song "the very first night" from red tv sounds more like 1989 because most of it is sung with high pitch, Idk it's just my pov...
@ATWTMVTVFTVSGAVRALPS6 ай бұрын
Exactly! I think that's why it was unreleased before because she wanted something repetitive/bombastic, and not songs that're moody with wordy lyrics. 1989 was a step away from the 'diaristic' writing of her country style and these vault tracks are somewhat similar to those.
@MrMagnus20246 ай бұрын
Fun fact 1989TV was recorded before the official making of Midnights. The sounds of midnights album are inspired from vault tracks they made for 1989.
@diogerleonett32236 ай бұрын
@@MrMagnus2024 absolutely, in fact the whole midnights album is like a fusion between the rep and 1989 sounds and production, but for the vault of 1989 that lower Range pitch of her new singing style doesn't work that well with the up-beat and happy 80's sounds of the era, that's something from folklore, evermore and midnights.
