I feel like she didn’t touch these for years on purpose. When artists make an album, they don’t just throw songs in it (tho some do). Taylor made it so that, maybe, just maybe she would be able to re-release these someday alongside a re-record of her masters bc those songs belong in a particular album, era, feeling, etc.
