Headed off to a wedding and saw this on my subs. What an amazing clip so far, @6:23 is amazing. Thanks Sam and Taylor!

I bought all the things because of Sam, I'm getting the techart adapter and a 55 1.2 Nikon lens and I can't wait
@schmel.photography11 ай бұрын
Which adapter exactly did you buy and where did you buy it? Are there any restrictions on setting it to infinity? I want to use my AI-S 35mm f/1.4 and AI-S 85mm f/1.4 on my Nikon Z 9, do you have experience with that?

Really interesting - It strikes me that the uptake of the Nikon Zf is quick and there is a lot of interest in adapting lenses from other mounts. Did you have any observations about the Techart adapter in addition to what Sam Hurd said? He liked it.

I have one but I haven’t used it a whole lot. It seems very nice time for my tests with my Leica lenses. Easier than using them with a manual adapter since it makes my focus distances all weird
@TravisNutley11 ай бұрын
I have the same adapter and have tried with the Z6 (mk1), Z8, and Z9 with Leica M lenses, as well as Nikon F and m42 to Leica M adapters. The Z6 struggles but Z8 and Z9 are pretty good. I haven't played with it on the Zf yet but hope to soon!

Would love to get that grip! Could a link be attached or just a bit more info on where to get one. I’ve been searching Etsy and the internet with no luck! So I look forward to any info you could send my way Thanks Sean 🥵

I have been waiting for Nikon to recreate Nikon FM2 in digital tech. Namely no BS workhorse that uses low current so the battery lasts for months, all buttons, no autofocus, no chimpanzee LCD and FF sensor with HQ lowlight capability. ZF comes close but not yet.
