This is the club I should have bought rather than std M4. I increased the loft from 10.5 std by 2 clicks at the hozel which has helped reduce my fade curve. G400 is also a great driver but was extra $$$ at the time..

Very good demo. As a golfer who swings 90 mph and tends to hold off on the release as you sbowed, its good to see its still playablet v

Thanks for another excellent review Andrew and it looks as though I have another Driver on my list to try, joining the Ping G400 SFT & G400 MAX and the Rogue Draw Biased. I am interested to see if any of them can replace my beloved G30 SFT (Faiway finder). As my fade is mostly down to strike location (low heel), I am interested to see is the MAX`s high MOI will be more beneficial to me than the weighted Draw biased Drivers.

Good test might be worth a try as off 5 and didn't get anything out standard M4 or M3 lol

As I see it, only your 1st shot was per test of clubs ability! Trying to offset the merits [defeats purpose of test] . Right now i'm using a Ping 400 SFT 12* , shortened to 44 1/2" with a Jumbo Winn Tann Grip ! D-4 This club seems almost perfect for me.

Gary, thanks for your comments, certainly was not my intention to defeat the club in question. I always try and give a honest and fair opinion of the club I am hitting. I am not a tour pro just a fairly decent ball striker trying to help fellow golfers make informed decisions. All the best.

What is your opinion on the feel of this club compared to the G400 SFT? Do you think one club is more forgiving than the other?

Is this D Type driver club face at address somewhat closed, open or square?

Hi face will play a little closed at impact, with 41 grams of weight added to the heel to promote less slice.
