Could keep your mizunos and switch out the 7 6 5 4 irons for these. Makes a lot of sense the way they've designed the progression through the set. And the loft gaps look reasonable up to the 5 iron if you look at the specs on their website.

Wow this is such a let down for me. I combo setted p770s and p790s and I feel like these are literally the exact same thing as my set but I haven’t looked at the specs yet. I love the p790s though, I couldn’t play the full set because of distance issue and them going to far in short irons which killed my distance gaps between pitching wedge and 50 degree. Awesome video!

Everyone slags off PXG as the price inflator for irons but it seems that TM bring out new irons every other week and each set has a bigger price tag. If you add on the GAPR stuff as well, the R&D budget must be similar to NASA.

Carry for a 6 iron is 160 yards...not really feeling them...170 yards is a guess based on ball launch statistics. I would expect a 6 iron to stop on landing...not run 10 yards. Would make life difficult on a green which was less than 10 yards long

Looks - Average 2.5 out of 5, not feeling the George Foreman grill look..lol Price - Expensive, looks does not warrant price IMO.. Compared to my P790s - P790s still look way better to me. I've had them for 1 month now and love them. My distance control with P790's has been great, i dont get that long long flyer....I'm playing at at 3 handicap, these P790s have been great performers for me. Not changing anytime soon.

£1300 for these is a lot of money, especially for the odd yard. Cant really understand why clubs over the last few yrs have rocketted in price. Perhaps the recession has taken its toll on profits. Perhaps they are aimed at the USA market ?? If these come out at 500 they would sell 4 times more than the price they are now. Its 10 pound shaft and grip with a head costing 170..... Thought you were getting Ping i500

Darrell Williams the low spin was probably because he was hitting with a wet clubface with grass on them, they are truer lofts so no way they are low spin. Also, grooves don’t add spin, the spin comes from the loft. Grooves direct debris and water away from the hitting area to get better contact. Cheers mate
