Until you guys started the fairwaywood bracket didn’t thought of buying a new fairwaywood. But after I saw the SIM TI fairwaywood performance watched other reviews about the SIM and tried it on trackman side by side my own fairwaywood M2 and it is a great performer and for me the best fairwaywood I ever hit from the deck. So it is in the bag😇😎👍🏽 think that the SIM TI will win this fairwaywood bracket. Thanks guys for inspiring me to try ..and buy a new fairwaywood 😜🤑

no - not independent - TXG has ordered (mentioned on a previous video), a Tour adjustment tool to use on the hosel to bend the hosel if required

The ball flight and shape on the Sim were just so consistent. The Mavrik snuck out the distance, but off the tee is missed left, right, and ended up short twice.

The Mavrik SZ seemed to be much more draw biased, would you agree with that statement? As a right hander I would love to find more of the middle/left side of the fairway. Also, is there much of a discernible difference between the Epic Flash and the Mavrik SZ? I'm currently gaming the Epic Flash.

I wish so bad this head came in a 16.5. I owned one and could not get it to launch and feel the depth of face played into my mind of it being “difficult” off the deck. LOVED it off the tee

Good stuff. May make me re-visit the quest for a 3 wood after performances like that. My 5 wood is a “out of my cold dead hands” club after two flagsticks hit in past four rounds with it. A friendly 3 wood would be cool to give more pop on the top end of the bag.

Interesting gaps in the shot ID numbers on the Foresight for the off the deck shots: 57, 60, 62, ... 72 / 74, 77, 83, 86. Some fatigue at the end of a long day? (Matt is human after all.) Is there a blooper reel of discarded shots in our future? (Please?)

Does the stiffness of a shaft matter when it comes to spin? My buddy is in-between stiff/extra stiff 110 mph SS. He's a very high spin player I was looking at an epic flash subzero head but what type of stock shaft would you recommend? He's going to get a used club. He hits my 9° SIM with a green Hazerdus stiff shaft well but doesn't want to drop $550.00 on a drive yet. I know this probly isn't enough information but there are lot of used clubs out their just curious what your thoughts would be? Thank!

What spin would I aim for with 3 wood? Cs 92-95, launch 14,9. attack angle -1,9. I spin my TS2 with a Hzrdud 6.0 around 4.400 rpm which I think is way to high. Carry around 190 m

After watching this series I am glad I ended up going for the Cobra Speedzone, its basically the same as the Taylormade when its fit properly and the consistency in the hits is so much better and for £200 cheaper than the Sim. These videos are a good series but on the course you're not hitting off the mat and on dodgy lies, the cobra performed better for me personally when hitting on the grass and from dodgy lies, might be worth doing a video series showing the results off the grass as thats what you're using out on the course?

I play the Sim driver and would love to play the 3w too, but it looks closed at address to my eye so the Mavrik SZ is in my bag. The numbers on the two were almost identical but I could hit the Mavrik better more consistently because the shape gave me confidence.
