Mama Mimi I have real dry skin and i have a Ton of foundations, but, I like the dermablend mixed with my cyo, LA girl, not the matte one, Josie maran vibrancy is my fave, maybelline fit me dewy, and too faced born this way, BUT, my skin care prep has changed how most all of my foundations sit on my face for the better. Use a good Moisturizer, and a serum or face oil as well. Also, i literally spray a setting spray or some spray between Every different layer of product i put on my face to moisturize it more. Try using glycerin and rose water. I bought mine from cvs and put it in a spray bottle with half water and half the product and spray that before skincare, after skin care products, after foundation and after powder. It’s a great moisturizer

I would love to see a series on concealer. I find concealers to use under my eyes the most difficult to find. Everything end up looking cakey on me at the end of the day. I have dry skin and really trust your opinion on products!

I've only seen a few reviews but they were all pretty bad. I think Morphe rushed this to be the first brand to have 60 shades and the quality suffered because of it. That being said, I haven't tried anything from them so I can't speak to their usual level of quality across the board

@@makeuplayshaa That's great!! Makeup is so subjective and different products work for different people which is why having so many options is great! I considered trying it when I first heard about the shade range because I'm very fair with a strong pink undertone so finding a foundation that works can be annoying sometimes but when I heard it was matte, I passed. Matte doesn't work on my combo-dry skin. P.S. I just saw your old channel and you're absolutely beautiful!!

Honestly I have to say it not only as a pro makeup artist but just as the everyday person. Morphe is such an overrated brand in such a bad way. I feel like they spend more time advertising the products they put out rather then putting out the best quality they possibly can. I'm so happy to see Taylor do a review then anyone else because I know we're hearing an actual honest review 🖤

They have their hits & misses, just like any other brand. The original J. Hill palette is sensational and so are the 39A and the James Charles'. They are very Hyped up and their PR is working maybe a little too ardently, but in this day and age they have to, in order to compete. I don't like the aggressive PR, but I understand where it comes from. The good thing about Morphe is their will to take chances, so though they might not be consistent in quality, they still manage to excite me.

Well they're a private label brand so they don't formulate their products they just buy them in bulk and put their name on the packaging, so yeah they spend most of their effort on marketing

Agreed! The 35O palette has been raves about for years, and I hated it! The matte shades sucked, and the shimmers wouldn’t stick to any primer I tried. I got rid of it after like a month of having it. I also have multiple brushes and half of them fell apart and frayed after one wash. I gave up on everything Morphe.

Rihanna really changed the whole makeup industry when she switched up the game and forced companies to start widening their shade ranges. I’m very happy about the advancements in inclusivity in most brands today!!

I find it funny when people say this because there are foundations out there that have large shade ranges and have for years.....but with better formulas. I wanted to love FB sooooo badly but I couldn’t 😔 No shade match and even if there was, the formulation was horrific. I was really, REALLY hoping she’d come out with another formula for those who aren’t into cake-face......fingers crossed she will and I can try again!

i totally agree with there being other products that have wide shade ranges, and then even coming before fenty! however, fenty has brought much needed attention to the issue and don’t diss the formula. i personally have tried the foundation and it works beautifully.

Christina Williams I agree, I did not like the FB foundation at all. I tried to make it work so many times, but my skin is just too dry. I’m sure it’s a great foundation for normal, combo and oily skin people. I too a hoping for a lighter coverage/dewy foundation from FB Bc I do love her products.

Girl, you do makeup so well! You've got amazing skills! You say you're no expert in makeup application, but I disagree. Your skills are just as good or better than some so called "experts" on YT. I started watching when you were still just in College. You had the same dark hair, and a fair skin princess like me. I now have darker skin because of living in Florida 6 months a year, since 2001. My skin went from white white ivory, to Light Neutral, which can be a little dark still. And I just add some LA Girl white or KVD lightest shade. Thanks for all the great reviews and informative reviews. I just bought the Cover FX and L’Oreal Infallible that just came out. Cheers!

I bought the L’Oréal fresh wear foundation. I wore it for 13 hours and it stayed near perfect on my frigging oily skin!!! And I found a perfect match, no mixing needed!!!! I’d also like to add that whenever I buy Morphe (which isn’t too often but sometimes a girl just needs those eyeshadows!) i always use your code because 1. You don’t push it on people like some people do and 2. Even if it’s a small amount you make I still want you to get it, you know? 💜💜

Vdl perfect lasting foundation is a satin matte or natural matte type foundation and it is hydrating too. I have dry skin and it works really well. I love it with the tatcha silk canvas and the vdl metal cushion primer. Vdl was having a sale where you get the cushion primer with the foundation for 30% off so it was a good deal.
