Top notch once again Donny...your direct experience an excellent adventure...i can relate to a lot of situations and environments you are in ....i often find that when your stuck, a little down or things just do not go to plan.. some thing always turns up for the better ...its easy to laugh with hind sight but its tough going for sure....exciting and enjoyable for most part though...i reckon...really looking forward to this whole trip ...thanks again for bringing back some great memories of the west coast of Scotland

Great to see you back out, everyone has these challenges at times. All you can do is push through them and things work out. it makes a good story too! I was very close to copying your Quicksilver inflatable/engine setup but ended up getting a cracking Seapro 520/Mercury 60HP which will take me to all your haunts very soon. Hope to see you out on the Seas one day. cheers

I always carry a closed cell foam mat as a backup in case of air bed deflation. Even if you forget your pin number you can always get cashback just from scanning your card at the checkout, as long as the total bill doesn't exceed £100.

Great video again Donny, and a pretty ambitious plan too. I've thought about heading round Skye myself but the fuel load would be hefty and Rubha Hunish is a pretty exposed place to be if the weather turns. Maybe you're just braver than me 🙂 Where next though - a trip around the Outer Hebrides?
@donnywilcox2 жыл бұрын
Hi Doug ..It took two atempts going from taynuilt to get right round skye so I used plenty fuel. Second attempt which suceeded was 320 miles all in..and used 110 litres of fuel. I doubt Im braver than you..but may be more familliar with Skye as I have does it several times and also explored individual areas in my small F Rib and 6ph. Its well worth the effort as the scenery is superb..as you will see in the videos :-D
