keep at it you guys! you're legit some of the most likeable people on YT. man, i remember seeing him do this on SNL in '04, pretty much a kid, saying [...] BUSH on live TV, and he whipped out a sign that said 'VOTE' and i honestly think that was the first time i was like... yo musicians can use their platforms to just really get people's attention and push for the right things (even tho i'm canadian). and obviously he's continued doing that

That was far from a T.I. Diss they have tracks with each other and Em even gave T.I. shoutouts on songs when T.I. went to jail at the time but the Rubber Band Man line was a reference to T.I ’s breakout 2003 hit -Rubber Band Man & Mosh came out in 2004 so yea it was just a reference/shoutout not a diss at all✍🏽🎯💯

@@sinsako6 It's both dude. It's a very obvious metaphor and a reference to the TI song. I don't think the TI reference had a much deeper meaning... other than just being an insane way to blend a well known song from the prior year and incorporate it into his own verse...

The animated video for “Mosh” depicts a U.S. soldier returning home from Baghdad, only to be told he must go back, leaving his family behind in a country that doesn’t even take care of its own citizens properly, while promising to rebuild another nation through the violence of war. American troops who served in the Iraq War were forced to do many tours of duty during this time. This was due to a lack of people willing to enlist to fight in the controversial conflict due to its occupational nature. The song expresses the righteous anger millions of people felt at George W. Bush for not bringing the U.S. troops home immediately when so many Americans and allies around the world were against the war. “Mosh” demands we look at the hypocrisy of our political leaders while imagining what it would be like if American people really supported the troops by sticking together to demand they be brought home from an unconstitutional, illegal war that only we can end (Only Em can make a track like this Em is on another stratosphere in Hip Hop THE GOAT!👊🏽🙌🏽🐐🔥✨💯)

It's based on the tru Situation George bush was setting in front of a class with one book up side down in his hands, in this moment he get the message about the airplanes in the world trade center. ;)
