I figured out why I kept locking up after putting in my pin. Auto start stop has to be off otherwise engine shuts off and triggers lock up.

Thanks man! You will need to do a firmware update on it, if you have a labtop you could just bring it to the truck and plug it into the tazer. Otherwise you will be like me, destroy your back pulling it out to update then reinstall. Lol!

Awesome dude, so for me the horn did not go off. It may of been a setting that I did not enable, however the lights still did their light show thing!

Horn should also be enabled in settings to be activated if attempt of theft

so the pin sequence set-up is not numbers but a choose-able button configuration on the wheel?? i tried to order one but they told me to wait cause there was going to be some ram updates? so im waiting overall how do u like yours and any other helpful videos would be appreciated, thanks

Yes you are correct, you can your sequence of buttons to disengage the PIN. I have had mine for a year and a half now. The updates only keep making it more useful. Check the link in the description for the other video I have on the tazer and how to set it up. I also have how to videos for installing the Incognito pulley, afe intake and how to do your oil change. How long were you going to order, on November 14 is when they released some major updates for the tazer.

I’m curious to see what will happen if you put the truck in Drive prior to the countdown going to 0 can you still pull off?

As soon as you put it in Drive, it locks everything up, and it's not able to be driven. This is even before the countdown goes to zero.

There's a new firmware update where the Tazer does not need to be plugged in to enable this feature. I'm awaiting to download it and test it!

It really depends on what you are taking it to the dealer for. I've left mine in before when I brought it to the dealer for a recall. You would just have to unplug it, and not unmarry it. So the live features would not work.

After updating tazer i whent ahead nd pluged in car to use it nd it took me str8 to the pin ! Thats were the sequance was NOT saved nd messed up putting my pedal in limo mide disabeling my pedall!!

I'll be making a video with the Tazer shield by Brawler Fab. It protects the unit so it cannot be easily unplugged or tampered with! I'll have the video up next week!

@@superbrowndudenational_trx 18.2.4. I try the kill pedal disable. The pandal won’t work if you turn off. But they say even if you unplug it. The pandal still won’t work. But I try it. I turn it off. Turn it back on. It works. But if I wait for 30 minutes later I came back. It won’t work.

Live options memue will stop working , meaning functions of live settings while tazer plugged in car only .

The Tazer DT will work with other 5gen Rams.

It doesn't plug into the ODB, however removing it will disable that function. There is a shield that Brawler Fab designed to help reduce the chance of this happening.

Not a fact, seems more of a sales pitch. While the Tazer has the anti theft features, it's not marketed as an anti theft device. The latest update has features that will work when the Tazer is also unplugged as well.

Be carefull w these firmwear as they are chinese firmwear nd will cause glinches nd destroy ur BCM function on car by not storing propper memory!!! Dnt say i did worn u

Be carefull w this tazer nd its firmwear mines nevervremmebered (STORED) the PIN nd car was stuck with out me able to bring it back !! Till had to call tazer nd be back nd fourth to MAC nd car for 1 hr to bring car back SMH they operate on chinese owned mac driver on sll ther firmwear thats why this crap happends
