I'm not sure if the "Synchronized" weapon speed data is correct. If it is statistically significant to boost enhance damage, then I would assume the following: Equip the crafted Epic Mace or Axe (Dragonmaw) MH + Fist of Reckoning offhand ( a level 61 boe mace) so they are both 2.7 SPD. There is no other option for a 2.7 SPD one-hand. Otherwise, you can get Axes or maces at 2.6 SPD are there's SIGNIFICANTLY more options including PVP weapons, quest weapons, dungeons, and Kara.

Hey there, would you recommend going towards hitcap or just stay around 16%? Also wanna ask if Elemental Leatherworking is going to be bis for shamans throughout tbc or just strong in the early phases. Gonna be Leatherworking and Hammer/Axesmith, not sure yet

Love your vids Holderhek, Enhancement Shaman is life! I keep hearing conflicting information about the LW sets for Enhance. What is your opinion on Netherscale vs Primalstrike? I see you have Primalstrike listed as P1 Bis, are you just prio-ing pure DPS over survivability and using Primalstrike due to that? Are we still pretty well crit capped & that's why you're looking to Primalstrike? I can't find a resource that has done a comparison between the two sets & why one is better for Enh raiding than the other. Thanks for your time & keep up the killer content!

I think if you're going to craft the leather working gear you're going to go primal strike. I look down pretty severely on any gear with int.

@@Holderhek That makes sense. Looking at the stats it seems like an easy decision, I think Netherscale having sockets was throwing off my assessment. Plus the trauma of constantly being oom in Classic haha. Can't wait for the mana efficiency we gain in TBC!

I noticed glad weps are on the list. I remember reading on the ej forums and archive that they were the best in slot till like t6.

Personally I'm staying Hammersmith for stunherald as well that + slower speed and stam for early game pvp. Catch me being sweaty in pvp on the "wrong" class for another expansion

We've done some internal testing and the proc rate on stormherald is abysmal. A juicy two-hander is still good for putting clothies in the dirt but if you're relying on the stun it's probably not going to work.

Hey. Have you considered taking the 2T4 for phase one ? It sims higher (for me) and the bonus is always good (melee group or hunt for the pets and feral friend)

Also I considered taking engi, the bombs could be useful for ae purposes. There're discussions about the chicken 2.0 but not a big fan for the first one :/

I made a set using T2 T4 to test and T4 loses on paper even with a metagem. If you wanna do it for your party sure. As for engy im gonna go that route for the mount because helicopter is bis.

just an off the wall question do you think we will be able to save all 50 tokens required for the lvl 70 blue tbc pvp set before or after the dark portal opens? i already have 20 of each saved right now im just wondering what you think so i can plan my token farming for prepatch.

Every single time I've ever played wow my main is an enhancement shaman. I've never disliked enhancement and the times I've quit have been because of the game itself.

Thanks for the update! Is it really worth it going BS for the axe at this point? As you mentioned, double glad axes might be better, or even Decapitator + glad axe should be as good as BS axe + glad axe. Also wouldn't it still be good to get LW for the sets?

There are a lot of valid choices right now. You'd most likely be fine doing any number of them. We were given a lot of options this go around so grab what you like best within the parameters.

Whats your thoughts on PVP and Stunherald? You crafting a 1h mace so you can swap to mace spec for when you pvp? Going planar edge really cramps that style.

We calculated the proc chance on stun herald to be incredibly low so it's gone from a nice to have to basically a gimmick. You can still swap to a big beefy two-hander in an attempt to execute windfury but it doesn't have to be stormherald.

@@linnenbach123 I can't say if it was nurfed or not only what the tests say. You're looking at 2.1% chance to proc per swing via our testing and that's just abysmal.

The mats for stormhearld be are going to be stupid expensive since every ret paladin and arms warrior will want stormhearld. every ret paladin and arms warrior will have prio over enhance for the mats since you are expected to dual wield.Enhancement would be waiting inline for the mats that drop in the raid to craft stormhearld The bus play is axes it has different mats that will costs less.

Can we get a new talent video? Everything says enhance resto for the sweet and sensual hit but I really loved elemental flurry flurry devestation builds in classic. Any fun wrong builds this time around?

The hit talent's really aren't necessary in resto. It just helps with totem twisting mainly. If you're in the straight pumper group and don't have to totem twist (hunters/druid group) you can go into ele.

The meta is helpful yeah. Wouldn't really go with relentless though the meta requirements are really high. Chaotic skyfire will give you virtually the same effect and require half as many non-standard gems.

Yeah without the arena weapon for an offhand you're going to be using the blue axe from crypts until phase 2.

They might still be pretty good. Testing is ongoing and when you can use two of them they will be great. Right now there's just a ton of options.

Drakefist Hammer is still very strong and upgradable for most of the expansion. Without it you're constantly fighting over drops. I would still go blacksmithing main hand.

There is no backup. There are no off hands. Everybody really needs to get good at arena or they're going to be using a blue off hand from crypts for the whole phase.

With the nerfs to mace haste proc and haste pots not stacking axes will be bis for orc because of the +5 axe racial and str pots.for alliance enhance maces are still bis. And won't have 2 different weapon speeds cause the faster offhand weapon to eat up windfury procs because of the 3 sec icd? You want the same attack speed across both weapons for the most consistent damage right??

@@hvdhvd-zt3js there isn't another 2.7 speed weapon. The only real play is double arena weapons if it becomes too big of an issue. The only thing gating anyone from grabbing two of them is time.
