How did you mom do it? I'm trying to be faithful to God but my wife's worldliness makes it hard. She loves the traditions of men (Halloween, Santa, Easter bunny) and I don't want any part of idolatry but I don't want to push her away as I'm to love my wife as Christ loved the church.
@FirstJohn4183 жыл бұрын
@@jasonbryan3135 idolatry is idol worship. It's not sinful to have Easter bunnies or Santas in your home to be festive and have fun. It is only sinful if those things are being worshipped instead of God. Be very careful of legalism. I don't know if your wife is saved or not but if she's not, legalism isn't going to win her over. Loving someone doesn't mean you participate if you feel it would be sinful for you.
@jasonbryan31353 жыл бұрын
@@FirstJohn418 I would have to disagree. Idolatry is anything that takes the place of God. What attributes is Santa given that children are led to believe? (He knows when you're sleeping and knows all you've done and will reward you with gifts.) How is he glorified in any of that? You lie to a child about that you give the child reason to not trust you in Godly matters because they now have reason to believe you are lying about God too. If you have Santa's image in your home and your child believes and asks him via a letter or goes to the mall and sits in his lap and asks for things you are participating in idolatry as you are literally putting up an idol for your child to worship in the hopes of getting gifts. Not mention you are lying to your child and the 9th commandment doesn't have loopholes in it. Lying is lying and we are not to use our freedom in Christ as a cloak of evil.
@TruckDriver20053 жыл бұрын
@@jasonbryan3135 I must respectfully disagree with you. In my opinion, families can do fun things with Santa, as long as the children know the truth. My dad, who's a Christian, used to take me to visit Santa every year. However, I knew he wasn't real it was all just pretend, and most kids like to play pretend. I have a daughter, and I raised her to know Santa's just pretend, and she liked seeing him every year. She preferred to stand and wave hello to him instead of sitting in his lap. She would occasionally tell him what she wanted for Christmas, but she knew none of her presents came from Santa.

You both have been the #1 most wonderful encouragers and Christian actors out of Hollywood that millions of people love to watch on TV and in the Theaters. I watched Growing Pains & Full House. I grew up with both of you. Now at 48 years old, I love to see that you do what you do. It says something when you both have long marriage's. When we take those vows, it says for better or worse. Most couples don't realize they are taking them before God, so therefore they do not care to give up and divorce. I was not raised that way at all. My husband and I have been married now for 22 years. We have 4 children. I cannot imagine divorcing my husband. We have had major issues in our marriage that has almost ripped us apart. No, we are not perfect, but we worked through our problems with Faith-based articles, worksheets, Scripture, & Prayer. We had an issue were we could only depend on Scripture & Prayer because there were no Biblical articles on the issue we faced at that time. Finally, Christian families are opening up to the very same issue we did originally 9 years ago.

I too took these vows seriously. In New Zealand we had a vaccine mandate for teachers. We studied and prayed about it, and had different convictions laid on our heart about it. I felt able to proceed, he did not. I would not act outside of his authority. So I had to leave my job. It has not been easy, but it has taught me how to take my problems to God first, to not blame and be resentful, and my husband has been able to prove to me that he can stand on his convictions alone, and that he loves me no matter if we think differently.

Hey, I felt a nudge so I'm gonna be obedient here lol. The hair is cool with the world but is of the marine kingdom. There are mermaid spirits and wigs all are worldly adornments when the bible says a woman is to dress modestly without costly array or adorments. The devil is slick because he knows what we like and he entices us with the fashion of principalities.

You two are so great, I have two sisters who are Christians and it's life saving just to know they're there. Also like to say thanks to you Kirk for fireproof. I have a daughter, Brandy, and hadn't been in her life enough, hardly at all really, but when she was 14 I took her to see it with her best friend. It gave us something good to do together and though I haven't been there, (something I still want to do) she is a good girl and woman. Thank you brother.

I needed this so badly today. It’s almost as if my phone has been listening to me for days about the battle I’m in regarding injustice in relation to Covid-19 mandates that has effected my daughter. I feel alone fighting this and my temper rises daily. I don’t like this feeling and feel guilty about being so angry. It feels good to hear we can be strong and stand up for our beliefs with a Christian heart….softly, but firmly.

Around the 35:00 mark My mom was having a very uncomfortable medical procedure the other day. She'd been warned by her doctor and her sister that it was pretty bad. While my mom was waiting to be called back, I prayed that she would the Lord would give her a higher tolerance for what she was about to experience. When she got home, she told me that the test wasn't as unpleasant as she'd been told. It was as if her tolerance level was higher than she thought it would have been. I smiled and told her I'd prayed for that exact thing for her. The Lord most definitely heard that little prayer. It wasn't fancy, but it was heartfelt.

You have NO IDEA how much I needed this EXACTLY ... and the TIMING of it coming up on my phone couldn't have been planned any better. I have been praying so hard about how to have self control when my emotions are high. Last night, I came home from a situation with my family and I felt soo convicted. I was truly UNCOMFORTABLE. I couldn't get away from the terrible feeling in me. This is the first thing I see when I woke up this morning. Thank you God. ❤️🙏 Btw. I smiled through this entire video. Thank you so much. I pray that you 2 continue to do these videos. I would love to watch them regularly. 🙏❤️🙂

He said she’s a goat. Well at least he was speaking truth there! Because they are both Goats! GOD divides the Sheep from the Goats! HIS Sheep Never Dies! The Goats are unbelievers! They have inside jokes that goat means greatest of all time- just so they can call each other that in public and laugh about it. They are frauds. And the Bible says they speak nice sounding words while they deceive you. The Whole earth wandered after the beast.

Pastors ( real ones), are not the phonies in the “ church” buildings! Acts 17- GOD does NOT dwell in buildings made by hands neither is HE worshipped with Men’s hands. The pastors-priests are actually those regular people who share the TRUTH. The WORD of GOD. The Seed. The SPIRIT. The LIFE. John 4:24- GOD IS A SPIRIT and we Must Worship Him In Spirit And In Truth. 1Tim 1:17- Unto the King Eternal, Immortal, INVISIBLE, ONLY Wise GOD…. 1Tim 2:5- There is ONE GOD and One Mediator between GOD and Men, the Man CHRIST Jesus. JESUS was Manifest IN the flesh ( of the Son). And we believers receive HIS SPIRIT In us when we believe, and we are Sons too. 1Cor 3:16- know ye not that ye are the temple of GOD and that the Spirit of GOD Dwelleth In you?

I had to jump back in because I just had a similar conversation with my colleague yesterday. He asked me why do some people are so unkind and make others life so difficult. I told him that by nature we are all selfish, but if we really try to be respectful and treat others the way we would like to be treated. Be strong yet kind with our truth. I know that some people take me for a weakling but I try to ask God to take over every day , just to speak on my behalf, to keep me quiet when I should, because its not easy with some bad tempered people. Furthermore it hurts my face too much whenever I'm unkind. As Candace says pray, pray, pray.....it's never too much. God bless you 🙏🏼 ❤ 🙌 ♥ 😘
