@@jamig.7254 I have never been in charge of setting the prices for volunteers seeking to excavate in Israel. However, I do agree that the price is usually very high, especially for Bachelor students. Regarding the alternative, there are enough local (i.e. Israeli) Archaeology students and volunteers to enable normal scale expeditions, without relying on international volunteers.

I would suggest reading the OT again and again so you can find the errors and mistranslations in the NT. The 1st commandment in hebrew would be a good start then Deut 13. A lexicon is invaluable in studying the bible. The hidden truth will set you free.

I've been to the "Banias" many times...the area devoted to the worship of the god Pan is called "Banias" (a "version" of "Panias"= Pan's place or area) locally...a grotto inside a smallish ciff overlooking several crystal clear pools of water and the beginnings of the Jordan River. It is a pilgrimage site, especially to Israeli Arabs.

I just found the Waters of Merom and the Jordan River on a pillar at Göbekli Tepe! 12000 years ago they knew about Lake Hula. Amazing pillar discovery considering the lake doesn’t exist anymore! I will probably get a video out later today to add to my library of other pillar readings. Having found the Nile, Euphrates, and Tigris…adding the Jordan is perfect! I am the Last Natufian and have translated most of the pillars! Having found the Vulture on the Vulture Stone is the Golan Heights, I knew I would find the Jordan River. There is much more Kebaran and Natufian artifacts to be found in Israel and the entire region. Looking forward to it!

"Petra" is a small stone, plus Jesus was responding to what Peter said whe Jesus asked him who HE says He is (Jesus). No. The trinity is not in the OT. Its a god that was never taught or thought of in Israel. Deut 13. Its a creation of Rome. Psalms 146:3. The true gospel is hidden within the NT like a pearl of great value that most never find because they dont know the OT. It starts with the 1st commandment (in hebrew) and never changes. Hosea 11:9 just like our creator never changes who he was, is and always will be. He is ONE all by himself and there is no other but him alone. His spoken word and spirit are not persons as Rome has told the church. The father is his word and his spirit. He is ONE. Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. His word is his power and wisdom manifest in all sons born of his spirit. When people see his sons they should see the father because he lives in us. We speak forth his spoken word as his witnesses/prophets. Zech. 7:12.

Hebrew is the only canaanite language that still exists. References to "Palestine" were only made after thousands of years of Jewish history, following a Roman occupation. Most of modern Palestinians are Muslim, and speak Arabic. Arabic is NOT a canaanite language, furthermore, Islam started colonizing the land only after the 7th century following Muhammad's death in Medina of Saudi Arabia. And "Palestine" as referenced initially by the Romans, is a Latin word at its root, also not Arabic. The meaning as intended by the Romans was "a material that can be shaped and manipulated as you please" - plasticine, children play with it all the time. So in conclusion, No, Palestinian history does NOT start with the Canaanites. However Jewish history does, and solely the Hebrew language is a pretty obvious proof of that. Archeological evidence is also hard to ignore.
